    Help with a name

Re: Help with a name The Shade Hellspawn Lucifer Reaper
  2. Re: Best superhero titles of the 70's Yeah, but do you still have the issues? The Defenders were my favorite as well and I still have all my issues, about 80 percent of the original run.
  3. Re: Best Mystic comic/character ever? As I have said before on other threads....... DOCTOR STRANGE

  6. Re: L.A. Caveman Details? I'm not opposed to stealing your ideals if I ever do my own campaign. You got anything you'd like to share?
  7. Re: L.A. Caveman Just a few points.... 1) mitochondrial DNA is passed to the child via the mother if I remember correctly...Wouldn't that mean that the possibility exists that the mother could have been H. sapiens and the father neanderthal? 2) Mule point is well taken and very probable. 3) Hey I might be your neighbor and I AM using my soul as well 4) I have thought about a campaing setting where not only sapiens and neanderthal survived but also Gigantus, and the "hobbit" from the pacific. It would give you a typical hobbit, orc or troll, human and a "half-dwarf" (neanderthal). With a little work you could have all the typical "races" using human ancestors.
  8. Re: L.A. Caveman Then again they were much closter to us than we thought? Could they be us? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070116/ap_on_sc/humans_neanderthals Now let's look at the Neanderthal, with his injury paterns he would make a good rodeo cowboy. The Hunting/Animal tracker wouldn't be an option. There are to many extinct animals.
  9. Re: Digital Hero Pulp Index The adventure index is by Genre. The character index has a listing of a target genre ( pulp, western, horrer, fantasy, etc). I have not listed every possible genre but only the first or most fitting one. Currently the listing includes the first 20 issues of DH. http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51355 Mulgar

  11. Re: Thunderbird Questions Explains why he was so unlikable....less complaints when he died.
  12. Re: Thunderbird Questions They got him pretty much right, he was second fiddle to all the other x-men. I think he was created all along to get killed.
  13. Re: 7 heroes summoned through time: who are they?
  14. Re: 7 heroes summoned through time: who are they? Hmm..... Alexander Ceaser Richard the Lion Hearted Saladin Cinncinatus Hannibal Eric the Red Leif Eriksson and finnally Charlemagne - any one with the cahones to take the crown from the pope and crown himself Emperor makes the list.
  15. Re: WWYCD?: The blatant-ening. Ahhh, now I get it Pendaran, someone else ticked you off so you offer this. I will leave it and you alone.......
  16. Re: WWYCD?: The blatant-ening. The point is that this is not choice.
  17. Re: WWYCD?: The blatant-ening. Before or after you deck the GM? Seriously, what is the purpose of this WWYCD? Most of the ones I have seen have viable actions to get out of the situation. What you are basically asking is evil worth defeating if it takes a life to do it. It does not matter what the child has....
  18. Re: THE GREEN LANTERN has fallen Quite true, but it is one of my favorites.
  19. In case you guys haven't hear yet...the creator of Green Lantern has died In brightest day, in blackest night No evil shall escape my sight Let those who worship evil's might Beware my power, Green Lantern's light! RIP Martin Nodell

  22. Re: The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the HEROic Unbeliever Two quick thoughts...... First of all the world of Thomas Covenat was unbelievable, to this day it is one of the best imagined that I have ever read about. BUT I could never get into the whiny anti-hero of the series. I was really confused at the time because a lot of my friends were telling me how great it was and I just labored to read them. Second, I for one am glad that occasionally some of the old threads are brought up. I don't have the time to read the entire boards and find them. I can read the new ones as they come. So Mel, thanks for pulling it up again. There has been some good new discussions about it. If I had rep to give several of you would get it.
