The members of Anti-Social Media use their powers, as well as various social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube, etc.), to try to "remake society" as they think it should be.  It's too bad that they don't all agree on what that image should be, but they somehow manage to stay together despite their differences.  Who are these seven would-be influencers, and what are their individual goals?

Naked Anarchy is, as the name implies, an anarchist.  She is actually covered by something that looks like a flesh-tone body-stocking that makes her look faceless and anatomically incomplete.  What it actually is, is a symbiotic lifeform which protects her from injury, allows her to see and sonar sense in every direction, boost her agility and strength and rapidly repairs any damage.  It can also disable security systems with a touch and lets her be a master of disguise.  Her crimes are acts of left anarchist protest, that include graffitti and other vandalism, breaking and entering and theft of corporate and government documents and participating in Antifa-related violence.  She doesn't talk in costume, only communicating via twitter and tumbler.   She posts her purloined documents to Wikileaks.

But what's a super-team without a brick? Several superheroes have fought super-strong, nigh-invulnerable women of diverse appearance, costumes, and pseudonyms. These battles have caused lots, I mean lots of property damage. Factories and businesses have had to shut down because they didn't have insurance against super-battles. Sometimes the female villain got away, though ususally without whatever she came to steal; sometimes she was captured, but another villain teleported her out of jail. (Thank you Bail, here's your tip.)

Heroes have not yet realized that all these super-strong female villains are the same woman, variously disguised; nor that the crimes she committed, or tried to commit, were blinds and often the real goal was the property damage. One way Force Majeure can destroy a client's rival is to stage a super-battle. Even sneakier, the group can benefit  a client by staging a super-battle on property that is insured -- whether to destroy evidence of other misdeeds, or just to collect the insurance money.

The woman's real code name within Force Majeure? Indemnity.

(PS: Another way to profit from super-battles? Short-selling. The process is a little too involved to go into here, but suffice to say there's a way to turn a profit on a stock whose value drops. Unexpected and massive property damage can send the value of a company's stock tumbling. Somebody who knows it was going to happen can make a killing. Force Majeure uses shell companies to profit in this way from companies it attacks, whether from Indemnity's battles, scandals rigged by Corpus Delicti, thefts by De Minimis, other damage by Burakku Kigyo, or just rumors spread by the Litigant. They make at least as much money this way as they get from their clients, and it may indeed be their true "business model.")

Jimmy Bonder is known as Bail, the "escape ticket" for Force Majeure in case they run afoul of PRIMUS or superheroes, as well as the "doorway" if they need to get into someplace en masse.   He is a mutant teleporter, able to take along others (up to 4x mass, so De Minimis usually shrinks himself); C.D.'s intangibility means he needs to fend for himself unless he's in an animated corpse.  Bail can also teleport objects, blink-teleport himself (for defensive purposes), teleport "reflect" attacks back at the attacker, and other such teleportation tricks.

His powers do come with a cost - literally.  He has a self-imposed mental block that requires him to get paid before he can teleport others.  (At least, he claims it's a mental block - he may just be doing it to put the bite on other members of Force Majeure.)

Outside of Force Majeure, Bonder is a fairly successful skip tracer and bounty hunter.

Corpus Delicti, or "C. D." for short, is an actual ghost. The team's support staff tell a story that in life he was the crookedest of crooked Mob lawyers. Heaven wouldn't take him, for obvious reasons, and the Devil was scared to let him into Hell. While C. D.'s's ability to go anywhere invisibly and intangibly has great use, his particular specialty is possessing and animating corpses -- the only way he can affect anything solid. One of his favorite ways of tying up an enemy of a client is to animate someone recently dead (if necessary, other members of Force Majeure kill someone), walk the dead person into the target's home or business, then vacate the body to leave an inconvenient corpse for the target to explain. For extra artistry he might shoot his host body with the target's gun, or leave the nude corpse of a strangled person in the target's bed. Then let police and prosecutors do their work. Even if a murder case won't stick, the target will be kept too busy to oppose Force Majeure's client.

If Corpus Delicti needs to pose as a living person (and the team can obtain a fresh enough cadaver for this), he sometimes uses the pseudonymous surname of "Mortmain."

The Litigant is the face of Force Majeure. As well as being a registered member of the Bar in several US states, he is also a Barrister in Britain and lawyer in Switzerland. He's very good in front of a court or Judge, and while his written submissions are nothing special, he rarely if ever fails to convince face to face.
That's because the Swiss-born Guy de Varoux is the possessor of the Golden Tongue of Peitho, the Greek Grace of persuasion, a direct link to the minor goddess, which grants him the power to persuade others of his own point of view. It's not perfect - he can't talk someone into committing some act they are vehemently opposed to, or self-harming - but it gives Guy a decided edge in any argument, and with his natural charm and charisma, that's usually all he needs.
He's not helpless outside of a courtroom, mind you. He's quite fit and keeps a 9mm pistol (licenced, of course) on his person at all times.

De Minimis or just "Minimis" is the team's expert in burglary.  Thanks to his ability to shrink, and to shrinks object he carries and his expertise with security systems, he can penetrate any place's defences to remove or place any desired object without leaving a trace.

Wow, if that list only goes through 2015 it's hard to believe any concept hasn't been done already, but I'll try.

Force Majeure is a team of mercenary villains that evil tycoons and corporations hire as criminal fixers and arrangers. Member names all refer to legal terms, though members don't need to have backgrounds as lawyers. (Might be good if the team leader did, though.) Six members sounds about right. All origin types allowed.

Quackhell reacted to Marcus Impudite in Company on the drawing board: Locke & Keyes Secure Storage
Company Name: Locke & Keyes Secure Storage

Business Model: Secure Storage Unit Rental

Company Founders: Jimmy Locke, Zachary Keyes

    Year Founded: 1978

Location of Corporate Headquarters: Cleveland, Ohio

Company Slogan: "Because your belongings are safest when they're under Locke & Keyes."

History/General Description: Locke & Keyes first started establishing storage sites across the United States and Canada during the 1980s and got a lot of their business at the time from people storing their belongings while moving. By the 2010s, they had expanded operations into Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and even Japan. Tenants are issued a security keycard that gives them access to the building and their individual storage units. Unit sizes and yearly rental costs may vary.

In-Game Use: Quite a few heroes and villains use Locke & Keyes storage units as places to keep their caches of spare equipment and costumes. While the company's official policy is that tenants aren't supposed to store weapons and other dangerous/illegal items in their units, many site managers are willing to look the other way as long as you pay your rent on time and don't cause significant trouble for them. All bets are off if law enforcement personnel show up with search warrants, though...

    Company Secrets:

Secret #1: Zachery Keyes has been secretly funding renegade Dimensional Engineering experiments in Japan. The scientists have promised him that, if they're successful in creating a stable pocket dimension inside the Locke & Keyes storage site in Osaka, the facility will have infinitely more interior space than its already considerable exterior dimensions. The project has, however, had it's share of problems since the machines were first turned on. First, two scientists have disappeared without a trace and months of investigations haven't turned up any clues as to what became of them. Second, dangerous entities from other dimensions have been entering our world every time there's a power surge in the equipment. The Japanese government has been breathing down their necks, and may (understandably) demand that the project be shutdown if there are any further incidents.

Secret #2: Locke & Keyes is now offering a special "Premium Rental Agreement" for a very select group of potential tenants who want security beyond what you'd normally get from an ordinary self-storage rental company. It involves signing a very strict non-disclosure agreement and shelling out a HUGE sum of cash, but it's supposed to be well worth it for the confidentiality and advanced security it affords. Storage facilities for these "Premium Tenants" are hidden in various locations around the world and require very special credentials to get inside.

Stars and Bars are a couple out of south Alabama.  Bars is a good ol' Southern boy who becomes super-strong and nigh-invulnerable the closer he gets to his gal Stars.  She begins to glow and can project light blasts as she gets closer to Bars.  Their costumes are based on the Confederate flag.

They have a running joke that Bars also becomes stronger and tougher (or at least thinks he does) as he goes into bars, particularly after he's had a drink or seven.

Btw, I do have another contest going and only 4 entries.  Called What's Her Story.  If you subscribe to my channel and put your idea of what her backstory is in the comments section, I'm picking 2 "winners" and will do a character concept drawing for them, for FREE!  Winners will be picked this Thursday, 10/6.

Hey guys, I've let this thread really stagnate over the last few years.  But I am back to full time art after 8 years of being at a 9-5 energy company doing marketing and forklift duties (wore a lot of hats).  I have been playing supers.  It has been our own system...but I've done a lot of art for our playtest and I thought I would drop some on y'all.  And that is just scratching the surface... I've got a lot more..  But let's see if folks enjoy this before completely saturating the thread.

Schlieffen was brought in because of his ability to plan operations, pick goals, and keep everything on track. He has a 100% win record when acting alone and has brought his team up to where they can win against lesser forces, force a draw against bigger and more powerful teams, and retreat against larger forces.

There are things that wander the continent, things that need to be put down. There is a hero to put those things down. That hero is Makoma with his hammer of doom, striking down monsters and imprisoning them in his bag. Makoma can call upon these spirits at any time to do his bidding

Orbous is an odd villain of unknown origin.  He is sometimes refered to as the Marbles Man. He is able to break himself down to metal balls. He can use thoes balls as weapons or tools, and has complete control over them. Each ball seems indestructible, and it seems no force in the universe can keep him from getting himself back together once he separates parts of himself (othoe there is time depending on distance).

Some believe Orbous is a robot of some kind. Others talk of a villain hiding in a ball bearing factory when some superhero unleashed a strange power. Only Orbous knows for sure, and in this form he is not telling.

    Fluer (d'Moustarde/ de Ypres)

Fluer was named for the poppies that famously sprang up in the fields after WWI, by parents who had both served and been exposed to mustard gas.  She was their only child that made it to term.
In WWII, she served as a nurse, like her mother before her.
In her 30s she realized she wasn't aging. Afraid she'd be dissected or worse if discovered she faked her death and assumed the fabricated  identity of her own daughter. She figured she'd do that every other decade forever...
But times changed quickly and such tricks became harder and harder, she slid deeper into the criminal underworld trying to keep her secret and was finally recruited by Versailles.
Fluer doesn't age, is virtually immune to poison and disease, and recovers from injuries, even loss of limbs in a matter of hours or days, without scarring.  She can emit almost any organic chemical that is liquid or gas at body temperature at will, but in amounts sufficient to affect only a small radius around her.  But, she can expand the area by hijacking the biology of local plants ahead of time, causing whole fields to suddenly bloom and emmit the chemical of her choice.  Thus, though a mutant, she prefers to pass herself off as a wielder of nature-magic.
In her cover IDs, Fluer appears to be a homely, gawky young woman of 18 or 20.  Masked and wearing a tight super-suit, though, she pulls off a femme-fetale look.
Though she came to villainy reluctantly, Fluer is a cynical, world-weary old woman (she's over 100) and resigned to her role.

He is the Rocketrider (honestly a kinda hidden Karmen Rider character). He rides around The World using his hi-tech motorcycle, armored suit, and martial arts skills to solve someone's problems as he searches for enlightenment. Sometimes he takes an odd job here or there, but he rairly sticks around in one place for more than three months. He is more attracted to the concept of Justice as opposed to Law, and is willing to disobey the law if it gets in the way of Justice.

It should be noted that thoes "guns" are thrusters, actually allowing Rocketrider a lot of mobility in combat, and can act like powerful kinetic cannons using his opponents as missiles against other opponents.

Cyberian is a time traveller from a rather dystopian possible future where cyborg androids are created with animal features to distinguish them from humans.  After the war he was made to fight in, he went into business as a bounty hunter and it was in that role that he ended up pursuing his prey into modern times, where he still works as a mercenary/bounty hunter.  He's inhumanly strong, quick and has enhanced senses and still has his bike, weapons and armour from the future.
