So not only did the Broncos lose out on Kirk Cousins, but now Tyrod Taylor as well. The Broncos were apparently trying to work out a trade with Buffalo, but for some reason it didn't go through. Net result, once again, is that Denver has no quarterback.
As for the one trade they did manage to pull off--sending Aqib Talib to Los Angeles for a 5th round draft pick--ultimately, I think this is going to be a good move for the team. Yes, Talib is still a great shutdown corner. On the other hand he's a huge distraction, and getting yourself suspended for picking a fight in the middle of your team's longest losing streak in 50 years is not a great way to endear yourself to the coaches are the fans. I hope he gets his act together in LA, but if he doesn't, well, he's no longer our problem.
