Pariah got a reaction from Ockham's Spoon in Jokes
My biology professor asked me what the function of carbohydrates was, but apparently "filling the deep well of sadness within me" was not the correct answer.

Pariah reacted to Lord Liaden in Political Discussion Thread (With Rules)
Trump is used to dragging out law suits against himself, making them so costly and time-consuming that the other party eventually drops the case, while also trying to intimidate them. He doesn't seem to understand that the "other party" in this case has far more resources than he does, and is beyond his power to intimidate.

The next total solar eclipse visible in the US's lower 48 will be August, 2045, on a track that is remarkably like that of the August 2017 eclipse but shifted south by about 500 km. I think totality will stomp right over Pariah's present lodgings.

Pariah reacted to Ternaugh in What Have You Watched Recently?
Smokey and the Bandit: The second-highest grossing movie of 1977, and it made enough of an impression on me as a child that I could remember all of the lyrics to the songs (I caught myself singing along to "Eastbound and Down"). It's a funny, nostalgic watch. (Netflix)
The Black Hole: Disney doing a darker movie, with the crew of the Palomino discovering a ship lost for 20 years on the edge of a black hole. The plot's a mix of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Dante's Divine Comedy. I originally watched this in theaters with my parents, and it's remained a quirky favorite of mine over the years. (Disney+)

That's still a better look than any of her three catsuits. At least it's a uniform.

I think this was the perfect response to a GOP proposal to rename Dulles airport after Trump.
Democratic congressmen unveil bill to rename a federal prison after Trump (nbcnews.com)
I'm just disappointed that nobody pointed out that renaming an airport after him wasn't so out of bounds, either, as he's likely a flight risk.

Unnecessarily redundant at that level of wealth.

A disturbingly large proportion of the population needs that book, though the ones who need it most are least likely to read it.
