  1. Re: Terrax the Tamer, Dead Herald of Galactus. Applause, applause!!! And be sure to post the 5000 point character ASAP. Would Zeus from the Gods Package Deal thread be in that point range? I hope so. Blow our minds! Again...and again...and again...and again...and again...:D
  2. Re: Terrax the Tamer, Dead Herald of Galactus. I am not complaining. Just observing, that everything is so much more point-expensive than anything I design. Poor me!
  3. Re: Fred Foswell Perfect marksman when it comes to ping-pong ball guns!
  4. Re: Terrax the Tamer, Dead Herald of Galactus. As much as I love your write-ups, I am always amazed by the costs. I know Terrax was a herald of Galactus and that he is a powerful being, but 1358 points? That is ...wow. My own write-ups of Marvel characters were a lot cheaper. Let's see if I can remember: Ithink Beta Ray Thor was around 850 and even Black Bolt just above 1000. Somehow it's gotta be some kind of power level problem.
  5. Re: Fred Foswell I do not even know that character!
  6. Re: The Abomination (Marvel) You're so right. How could I overlook that. But the glasses worked for Superman. Maybe Emil Blonsky is smart enough to try it on his own ID.
  7. Re: The Abomination (Marvel) One of my favorite marvel villains and quite a match for every powerhouse in the universe, but often written very badly in the comic books. So much potential... Great write-up: rep as soon as I can:thumbup:
  8. Re: MancerBear's Art Den His facial expression looks so enthusiastic. I can't take him quite seriously. He'd be buddy-buddy with my favorite : The Champ (AE).
  9. Re: Captain Ultra Is it this guy? http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/c/captainultra.htm What a whacko! Mild pyrophobia? It should be severe pyrophobia (worth 50 points:D)
  10. Re: There's always one Props to Derek for great GMing and fantastic handling of the situation. I would probably take the situation from another angle. The character sure does have some disadvantages. I'd approach him from that side. Attack his vulnerabilities, make sure his susceptibilities come into play, have the villains hijack his DNPCs and then blackmail him. If he cannot join a fight, cause the villains threaten to kill his fiance (or the like), his comrades will be quite surprised (not knowing any of it, of course). That should bring balance back into the game. Let the other players save him or his DNPC and they will not feel so outclassed anymore.
  11. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. Since his pose seems to be some type of running we could call him Skywalker. IIRC there was once a Skywalker in a powersuit, wasn't there? Hmm...not sure:D
  12. Re: Psi Mistress Finally a character with mental defense, that I approve! Please, no armor suit! ???

    Vanguard

Never heard of him. Where did he appear? And I don't like Psi-Scramblers!
  14. Re: Supergirl (Cir-El) Not my type, I confess! But Enforcer, you are doing a great job with your write-ups. Please feel free to do some more.
  15. Re: Captain America II (Reborn) I never was much of a Captain America fanboy. Must be some kind of cultural thing. But that cutie in the red, white, blue and gray. She's so... Let's just say, I could change my mind.
  16. Re: Officially, is Teleios Canadian?
  17. Re: Powerburst Wow, yoz're not only doing great jobs at creating powerhouses and megavillains. You do those old-fashioned thugs just as well. This is a kind of character, that I would create quite a few of along with my mastermind. Good work and ... well, thanks, I think;)
  18. Re: The Fatherless Five Each character concept is quite intriguing. But as Killer Shrike pointed out, it is almost impossible too imagine, why five such individuals would join forces. OddHat, you've got a lot of things to explain. Although with your capabilities I'm sure you will stand the test.
  19. Re: Who are the top 5 most powerful characters in your Campaign. My campaign is four color standard comic book with some empasis on supernatural/mythological plots. We have seen the return of many legendary characters, gods, demons and the like. But still most of them have not appeared in the game sessions. Here are my Top 5 (as known by the players) 1. Tyrannon : The bad-ass dimensional conqueror with 888 manifestations. 2. Dr Destroyer : The megalomaniac, most evil person on Earth. 3. The Revered Elder : Earth's arch-mage. His powers are diminishing due to his age. But still very powerful. 4. Dagon : God of the Philistines. Commands a whole bunch of supernatural henchmen. His fortress lies in another dimension. Bend on world conquering. Diabolic Entity! 5. Baal : God of the Sumerians. Commands lots of supernatural beings. He resides on Earth. Arch-enemy of Dagon. Has defeated more than one team of superheroes. Still undecided what to do on modern Earth. Evil! Note: Due to houserules, villains need not have bases, vehicles, favors or followers in their write-ups. That would limit GMing, because everything had to be fleshed out in advance. Still Dagon and Baal range above 1000 points. Most powerful hero on Earth at this moment is 750 point Captain Alpha.
  20. Re: Name Help: Daemonic Hero How about some German suggestions? Der Besessene (The Possessed) : doesn't really fit the description Abgrund (Abyss) : sounds diabolical enough Zwei Seelen (Two Souls) : considered the demon counts as a soul
  21. Re: Thrud Lioness of Asgard Awesome! May I nickname her Trudy?
  22. Re: Thrud Lioness of Asgard 1419 points, that's a hefty girl! But I like her. I'm not sure about the name though. How did you come up with that? Is that from Norse Legends? TH is very uncharacteristic spelling in Scandinavian. How do you pronounce her name?
  23. Re: The Candy Striper Now I want her in my game!
