Re: reference material for Street Heroes I think one of the worst things about that show was the way it was shot. The premise is actually a very good one and one that could be ripped whole-heartedly for a campaign. (And I don't see why MANTIS couldn't fit into the CU.) And how rare is a black protagonist? Even today? 'S why I picked it. That and the fact that Hawkins in the MANTIS suit makes Conrad in the Exo-Man suit look like Mr Plod.

Re: Ideas for a "snake-themed" half villainess I'd add onto the "Desolidification, Cannot Pass Thru Solid Barriers", "Does Not Protect Against Damage" (-1) and "Requires a Contortionist Roll" (-1/2) and of course, the actual Contortionist skill. I'd blow 5 - 7 points on it as well, to make sure she's not going to blow the roll. Maybe you could also give her Ophidomancy, ie: divining the future through the movement of snakes (even it's only to make the PCs think she is a seeress). An ability to Summon snakes would be appropriate, as well. Hope this helps and good luck.

Re: refrence material for Stree Heroes I'll add my two cents. Unique, in that it featured a black disabled superhero as the protagonist. From an article, Dr Miles Hawkins comes across as a street-level version of Tony Stark.

Re: Cool Guns for your Games Interesting little gadget, good for a vigilante with a "less than lethal" mentality as well as cops who want to avoid legal troubles from using firearms. But as you say, wcw43921, a revolver-style weapon would be better for its greater capacity..
