  1. Hey diddle, diddle The median's in the middle You add and divide for the mean The mode is the one that appears the most And the range is the difference between
  2. I sometimes put the mustard on both slices of bread. Note: I prefer the bologna pan fried, cut like in the iron cross formation to prevent curling.
  3. Barry had an easy victory against Deathstorm that he completely missed. When he first runs in to the warehouse, Barry could simply have torn the matrix from Ronnie. Instant separation. As long as Barry holds the matrix, no Deathstorm. Other than that, a really good episode. Barry on the phone with his mom was tearing me up. Glad to see Wally is still around and trying to make a relationship with his dad (not a buddy).
  4. In my own tradition, Assemblies of God, we had a reconciliation with the black Pentecostal groups in 1994. In 1948, the Pentecostal Fellowship of North America was created. That fellowship was composed only of white Pentecostal groups. In 1994, it was dissolved and replaced with the Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America. The replacement was specifically to address the error of excluding our black Pentecostal and Charismatic brethren. The churches are still separate in governance, but we cooperate more now.
  5. Thank you. I did not remember the Schism being part of the agenda. I'm imagining having the patriarchs of the three Romes* in one room. *As Rome declined, Constantinople called itself the New Rome. After it fell, Moscow called itself the third Rome.
  6. I knew they met. Was it advertised as part of healing the Schism of 1054? This one is being touted that way.
  7. I was surprised to see the meeting was with Kirill of Moscow and not Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople.
  8. Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill to meet in Cuba.
  9. Agreed on Barry. Defeating Tarpit was anticlimactic. The real point of the episode was to further the plot with Zoom. And next time.... Earth 2! Caitlyn as Killer Frost. Barry as some guy with glasses. Harrison's actor is outstanding. I flop between wanting to punch him and feeling sorry for him.
  10. Two Cajun pastors, Reverend Boudreaux and Reverend Thibodaux, were busy hammering a sign next to the road. It read, "Da end is near! Turn yo sef 'round afore it too late!" As a car sped past them, the driver shouted out the window, "You religious nuts!" The car rounded the curve, and the pastors heard a loud splash. Boudreaux turned to Thibodaux and said, "I tole you it should jussay 'Bridge Out'."
  11. Rules question. Does V have to prepare the spell as "Bugsby's Cat Grabbing Hand" or just prepare "Bugsby's Hand" in general?
  12. Dearly departed friend of mine once moved to Denver and bought an old, five-bedroom house. He remarked while they were inspecting it how large all the bedrooms were. After they had been in the house for some time, the wall paper in one of the bedrooms began to peel. He found, underneath it, wallpaper that was bright, garish red. That struck him and his wife as very odd choice, even for a house more than a century old. He went to the library and records office and started digging into the property. Back in the late 1800s, it had been a brothel.
  13. We had a family thing with other families in the home school group. At one point, a boy between 18 months and 2 years (I'd guess) toddled by. My wife said, "He's the littlest Book." Book being another of the families there. I replied, "Looks like a novella to me."
  14. Yes. Great Pyrenees sheep dog. He was a few years old and full grown (100+ pounds). They have been selected for their natural protective instinct that allows them to guard any flock/herd animal. That he was killing calves meant something was very wrong with him. He couldn't be trusted around people after that either. There might have been suspicions of rabies.
  15. I'm sorry for your loss. One reason I don't have any pets is because of those losses in the past. Here's to Poncho, best Blue Heeler ever. Here's to Chippy, a sheep dog who performed better without training than many dogs with it. Point. "Bring me that one." And he would. Here's to Fluff, if he hadn't gone insane,* he would have had many more years of guarding the pasture and flock that he loved. *He started killing my grandfather's cattle. We had to put him down.
  16. What happens if you don't pay your exorcist's bill?
  17. My great uncle went to a bull fight while in Spain. Grew up on a dairy farm. He rooted for the bull.
  18. I believe the reasonable people have been sacked. Something about moose bites. Brand new feature that we hadn't heard about but absolutely has to be in the shopping cart (even though it's going to make for a terrible user experience, as we have repeatedly warned them). Required to implement: 1. Add this function to the store where applicable. 2. Remove the shopping cart display piece that works great and looks good. 3. Replace it with a new setup just so that these NEW FEATURES can be added. 4. Make it work great and look good. 5. No. We cannot move the go-live date out at all. This NEW feature has already taken 2 days for 2 programmers, and we ain't finished yet.
  19. And part of the reason for leaving is that he can't open up enough to tell her. I kept thinking the same thing.
  20. My wife kept saying, "Tell her! Tell her! The timing is perfect! Tell her!"
  21. Wow. Barry caught the idiot ball this episode, ran with it, and fell to the ground clutching it and calling it his precious!
  22. Am I really that weird to have the first thought be Diana's costume needs to have a higher neckline?
  23. It's a great company to work for.
  24. Old job, we would have passed the cost onto the client. Since this is all in-house programming now, they moved the due date out.
