Tim Hutton is a former insurance investigator who leads a team of criminals including a Grifter (Gina Bellman) a Thief (Beth Riesgraf), a Hacker (Aldis Hodge), and a Hitter (Christian Kane) who steal from corrupt corporate business people and politicians.  Great humor and tons of science fiction references.

Originally she had super-strength, was very tough, could fly, had x-ray vision, and a brilliant mind.  Not surprisingly she was created by Otto Binder who has previously created Mary Marvel, and would create Supergirl.  There is a bridge in National City named after him.

Given the poor quality of network TV I've been watching either Hogan's Heroes, Married with Children, or Deep Space Nine if it's a good Dominion War episode.

Well to be fair, the new movie didn't set a low bar.  It had no bar.

That's why Hart to Hart went off the air.  No one would go over to the Harts because they were likely to be murdered.

Which explains why Magneto didn't just show up in Age of Ultron and crush all the robots.  How it should have ended showed us that.

I think his greatest power was getting Miss America, a superstrong flying superheroine who happened to be a brilliant millionaire, and who looked like Maureen O'Hara, to go out with his.

Johnny Thunder springs to mind.  The only good thing about his comic is the introduction of Black Canary.

I think those are more Pulp characteristics.  After the War started the Heroes became to work with the Authorities.  Even Sub-Mariner joined up.

Big Bang Comics has created a whole series of superheroes set in the 1940s.  Most are an homage to better known heroes.
