  1. Images is a Contant power typically bought with Area of Effect. (6E1 236) If I want my illusion to move, to I need to add "Mobile" to the AoE?

CS Friedman wrote good (and applicable) stuff too, from the holy cow psi intensive* "In Conquest Born" to the all the aliens are mutated humans in "This Alien Shore". The latter added to the psis are crazy element to make the otherspace navigators effective paranoid schizophrenics. The drugs were for the majority of their lives that weren't in otherspace. * Hyperbole - no Geush Urva Psychokinetics, that I know of.

I guess it depends on what exactly you're trying to model... a character that can create disease effects, a built character that's a disease that is infectious, or the effect to create prebuilt diseases. I think it's pretty sweet the system can model all three, though.
  6. Re: 6E: Contagious Disease? I like this at the Heroic Level. The base form has Duplication with two alternates, and the optional “the Duplicates can Duplicate” special effect of the Rapid Duplication Advantage. One charge Drain with Delayed Return Rate and Extra Time.

  10. Since it's been about 5 years since the last applicable thread I see pop up in my search... What are people currently thinking the best ways to model self targeting weapons (at less than vehicle scale) are? Computer rules with it's own DEX and Skill Levels? AOE (Accurate)?

  13. Re: Surely You're Joking, Mr Long. Well, now it's been identified and can be fixed. Or not, it's much the same to me. I still find it amusing. (And I absolutely have pre-built powers for my game with "only for Physical Actions" and "Only for Mental Actions" trying to mirror source material. One of my players has one now. Turned out to be more trouble than it was worth, darn it.)

Re: Question about Combat skill levels and damage On a related 6e note, even though we use the levels for damage "a lot", a -1/2 Limitation on Combat Skill Levels used to build Deadly Blow and Weaponmaster seems insufficicent for losing at least 2/3 of the functionality of the CSLs (OCV and DCV bonuses). Alternatively, bumping it to "-1 1/2" gets us 7, 12,and 16 for Weaponmaster (and 10, 12, 14 for Deadly Blow). Sort of a middle ground between the old and new ways of doing business. Feels more fair to me, especially if the GM is playing with the optional "double damage cap". YMMV
