Lord Liaden
We might not be living in the era of the vampire craze today if it weren't for Anne Rice. She was a seminal influence in the redefinition, resurgence and expansion of the vampire myth, as well as Goth subculture. Whether you think that's a good or bad thing, we can't deny the power of her vision over people's imaginations. wcw43921, aylwin13, Logan D. Tjack
I think she just went into masquerade. A very nice lady, I got an autograph from her once. An obscenely long line at a bookstore and even after several hours she was still gracious and kind. Enjoy your new life.

Cygnia
IIRC, she was very anti-fanfiction though.
