Wwycd? #87

After several years of superheroic (or vigilante revenge), your character finds himself suddenly pesterd by a fanboy. The fanboy is a middle-aged, overweight man with a bald spot who probably works a a comicbook shop a few blocks away from the team's base (or the hero's secret ID home).

The odd thing is, fanboy seems to know everything about you. The intricacies of your powers, your origin and even the extent of your Disadvantages. He even calls them Disadvantages. He even calls them Psychological Limitations and Hunteds. He refers to your main power as a Multipower or Elemental Control (and is correct in his assumption). At some point he even asks if you've ever bought off your Susceptability.

What would your character do?

Mask of Justice: "If you know that much about me, you must also know that my identity must be kept secret for the protection of innocents. It would be best if you never contacted me again. And of course you must never mention this, lest you be tortured for the information by criminals."

Rock Bottom: "So, is this your way of coming on to me? Because it's really creeping me out. Come back when you've learned some courtship skills."

Calculus: (thinks) "Is there *no* privacy anymore?" He demands to know where fanboy got his information, and he's not taking no for an answer.

Kira Midori: "Peter? Is that you? Because if it is, you really picked a lame body this time." (Peter is an interdimensional trickster figure, sort of a cross between Bugs Bunny and James Bond. He and Kira corresponded for a few years.)

Talion: "If you know that much about me, you're also aware that people around me tend to die very messy deaths, right?" :stupid:

Anthem and Uncle Slam would both just think he's strange but harmless, not understanding any of these terms. U.S. would put him under surveillance though and have agents report back any suspicious activities.

For Audra Blue we'll assume she was contacted through the internet. She'd research all these terms and discover it's tied to a game. Then, fascinated, she'd spend hours trying to reconstruct the rest of the team members using the rule system.

Estatua:

Kindly escort the poor madman to a psychiatric facility. After all, with Public ID, most of this data is commonly known. He just seems to have 'statted me up' in some game system. Poor fellow.

Flippant:

If baldy is lucky enough to convince Flip that he's from OUR dimension, he gets sent home. Otherwise... Flip is protective of his Secret ID.

Husky will be relieved there's finely somebody he can talk to and since the guy must have figured this stuff out by himself Kenneth will hopefully drop the charade soon. After transforming into Kenneth. Kenneth will drain all of the fanboys memories and replace them with new edited ones taking out all of the secrets. He'll then implant tracking and monitoring equipment in the poor guy and have the clarkebots infilitrate his home and scour for additional evidence while they place him in bed so he can wake up with a lsight headache and no memory of his time in the Fortress of Huskitude (located under the Clarke family basement).

Kenneth will then examine all of the man's memories and uncover where he got the wierd information.

Ghost Archer:

"Ghost Fletcher! How are things going?"

Ghost Fletcher:

"Not too bad, GA. Finished art school and got married to a girl I met in class."

Ghost Archer:

"Outstanding! So what are you up to?"

Ghost Fletcher:

"Got my own graphics design company in LA and my wife is working at Mattel designing Barbie stuff. Oh, and I am about to be ordained as a Buddhist priest."

Ghost Archer:

"I noticed the shaved head look."

Ghost Fletcher:

"Goes with the job."

Ghost Archer:

"Sounds to me like your life is going great. Glad to hear it."

Pinnacle:Would be amused to have a fan and might cater to the guy for awhile assuming he doesn't go all psycho on her. The stat stuff would throw her, but she'd look into it, find out it was game and then probably try to find out how accurate he was in his assesment of her.

Stopwatch: GEEK! :)

None of my other character would be very interesting to answer for.

Special Agent Trent:

"I'm going to tell you some things you alread know:

"First, stalking is a crime, and I'm law enforcement. I should arrest you right now, but I'll give you a chance to go away and save me the trouble.

"Second, I have a short temper and a psychokinetic blast that can shatter a reinforced concrete wall."

Cannis: Stares at the probable stalker, "I should have known posing for that Supervillaness calendar would lead to problems. Who are you and how did you find out so much about me?" She pauses for a moment, her eyes gleaming just a bit, "More importantly, exactly what is it you want?" His responses to her questions determine what happens next. But no matter what, Adam and her packmates will be told about the incident, in detail.

Sailor Io: If she is in her secret ID, Mina denies everything. "You think I'm one of the Sailor Senshi?" She gives him a confused smile, "That's flattering I guess. But I'm just a high school student. Besides, everyone knows the Scouts are just urban legends."

If he approaches her in Senshi form, she looks just a bit startled. "How do you know all of that?" Once again his response and what he has to way will determine her actions. Her team mates will be told about the incident though.

Zero would be extremely alarmed - sure, the terminology is weird, but the fanboy has somehow got past Zero's somewhat obsessive protection of his civilian identity, AND figured out his weak spots. This is NOT information he wants in the public domain. On the other hand, he'd be hamstrung by the suspicion that wiping the fanboy's memory would probably be a bad thing to do.

Then he'd brighten up

"I don't suppose you know anything like that about Black Paladin or the Skank... I mean Talisman, do you?"

Vitus would be suspicious, and then murderously angry.

This whole fandom thing puzzles and irritates him - he had Felicity's sister explain furry fandom to him once. At least this human doesn't appear to have a purient interest.

But once he started listing the chinks in Vitus' magical and psychological armour, he's going to find himself slammed up against against a wall and had a few things explained to him about secrets, skeletons in closets, and the usefulness of spells such as 'Flense' for providing skeletons for placement in any convenient closets, unless he explains how he learnt all that right now
