death tribble Posted April 2, 2023 Report Share Posted April 2, 2023 In response to Bazza about films being longer, what used to happen is that there were double bills at the cinema so that you saw two films unless the film was a major one like Gone With The Wind. So you could have two 90 min odd films and that would be three hours gone. The problem with the older films is that you can lose some plot which would really have helped due to them being shortened.
