aylwin13
There are rules?
Cancer
Smallpox vaccine gives a life-long protection, doesn't it? When did that change? (Used to be they were good for only 2 or 3 years.)
L. Marcus
You know, I can't find anything that suggest that more modern smallpox vaccines require repeated inoculations?
aylwin13
Can someone do some more research on this?
L. Marcus
Can someone try a search on PubMed? No access from home, only at school ...
Old Man
How about the CDC? How long does a smallpox vaccination last?Past experience indicates that the first dose of the vaccine offers protection from smallpox for 3 to 5 years, with decreasing immunity thereafter. If a person is vaccinated again later, immunity lasts longer. (added Nov 13, 2002)
aylwin13
So we all need another vaccination?

Cancer
Is that Dog Latin for "time reversal"? tkdguy
aylwin13
Since when do dogs speak Latin?
Cancer
Isn't Dog Latin the lingua franca among dogs? How else can a Telomian (who speaks Telomere) and a Stabyhoun (who speaks Stabby) communicate? (Besides sniffing each others' butts, I mean.) Cancer
Which would you rather do, grade lab write-ups or cook up snarky marginally-sane posts here? (EDIT: "slit your wrists" is another viable option.) Pariah
aylwin13
Is that a snarky, marginally-sane, trick question?
L. Marcus
Do you have to ask?
Pariah
Which would you rather do, grade lab write-ups or cook up snarky marginally-sane posts here? I believe the correct follow up question is: Regular coffee, or Irish?
Cancer
Isn't "Bourbon whiskey, or Irish?" even more correct?
aylwin13
And if not correct, then perhaps more appropriate?
