quozaxx
How would you build a poison that is resistant to Healing? Most poisons that I have seen are RKA, HKA, or Drain BODY. But Healing BODY covers all of that. I don't want it impossible to heal, just takes longer than normal. And a high d6 would just kill a person. IndianaJoe3
Re: Healing ressitant poison I can think of two ways, but they both require some handwaving. The first would be a Suppress or Dispel Healing, Constant, Linked to the attack. The other would be Power Defense, Usuable As Attack, only vs healing powers (probably -0, in context). quozaxx
Re: Healing ressitant poison I never thought of Linking Power Defense!!! Thanks. I keep forgetting that Healing is affected by Power Defense. And it's a LOT cheaper than Transform.
Chris Goodwin
Re: Healing ressitant poison Technically, it is if the Power Defense user wants it to be -- but if it's Usable As Attack, the user is the attacker, and obviously wants it to be... Beast
Re: Healing ressitant poison Power def as an attack once the victim is out of the area it would go away here is what I see as being a curse that lasts for a week Cursed to bleed: Power Defense (10 points), Persistent (+1/4), Uncontrolled (+1/2), Usable As Attack (+1 1/4) (30 Active Points); Limited Power Power loses about half of its effectiveness (only stops healing powers; -1), Time Limit (1 Week; -0)
Beast
Re: Healing ressitant poison the def would be power def 1pt cancels 1 pt to remove the effect you could use dispel as it is a def in a warped way you could say it is x2 to get rid of, so you would need 40 pts of dispel effect So what is the defense against 'Power Defense UAA'? Outsider
Re: Healing ressitant poison The following work also : Difficult to Dispell (+1/4) : The wound/effect is twice as large as normal for purposes of healing it. OR Extra dice of damage with the limitation "Only to Make Healing More Difficult" at whatever level your GM determines is appropriate. (I'd go at least -2)
