[Cassandra]

Bruce Banner is built using my Metamorph Characteristics Template. He has Martial Arts from training with Captain America and The Avengers. His VPP is his ability to invent technological devices (like Gamma Bombs). Dr. Banner also has medical knowledge because he was studying to be an MD before going into nuclear physics.

 

The Incredible Hulk is built using my Brick Template. His STR goes up to 60 thanks to his Density Increase (which is always on). His stretching his the Hulk being so large. I used Megascale for his long distance leaping, which he uses to get to the scene of battle, or escape from the authorities. He can cross the country in less then an hour using his Leaping. Hulk is a member of the Avengers and has the Federal Police Powers, although both he and Banner have access to Quinjets (Megascale Flight).

 

This Hulk isn't the rampaging unintelligence beast of the movies, but rather the Heroic version seen in Earth's Mightiest Heroes. He has both a positive and negative reputation due to this past.

This looks pretty good overall, although I do question Bruce Banner having a 20 STR and an 18 CON. He's practically the very definition of a wimpy scientist; even if we accept that he worked out a bit in his later years a 10 or 15 STR and CON seems more probable. JMO, and again, the overall build looks good, Cassie.

It's your thread and your time, but I'm still a bit disappointed. I was hoping that the purpose of this thread was to post your original characters. I was looking forward to seeing your original work.

Well, I always liked the character too, but I rather doubt Daniel Jackson would have a 20 STR or an 18 CON either. He's an ordinary man with a bit of training and a lot of smarts. A 20 STR is pro-football-player level STR. Does he really strike you as someone as strong as four ordinary men? That's about where I would have rated Teal'c.

 

I agree, Michael Shanks would be a great Bruce Banner if the character appears in SHIELD.

Well, I suppose that if for 99% of the Hulk's 51 year career Bruce Banner displayed all the physical prowess of a couch potato, then of course it's only logical we should build him to reflect the 1% of his career where he didn't.

 

Politics has nothing on the rationalization displayed by some role-players.

The Return By Cassandra Harbinger

 

"My name is Liberty," The blonde airborne super heroine said with the American Flag flying proudly behind her," May I help you?"

 

She was addressing two men and a woman, all dressed in black, who's flight she has intercepted just short of the White House. From the scant information she had received beforehand they had come from outer space. The fact that she seemed to be the only superhero in Washington, D.C., was something Liberty pushed to the back of her mind.

 

"My name is Aurora," The woman, who was classically beautiful with silky jet black hair and intelligent green eyes, began with a friendly smile, "On behalf of the Nova Britannia Astronomical Society I . . . "

 

"I am Maximus!" The older of the two males interrupted in an arrogant tone of voice, "And I demand to see the President!"

 

"The President is a very busy man," Liberty pointed out while subtly tightening her grip on the Torch and Shield in her hands, "May I ask what this is regarding?"

 

"Surrender!" Maximus answered, looking quite proud of himself, while earning a shocked look from Aurora.

 

"Oh, there is no need to bother the President with that," Liberty said sweetly, "I can accept your surrender."

 

The three of them looked as Liberty in stunned shock. Aurora was the first to react, with a look of bemusement coming to her lovely face. Maximus, on the other hand, seethed with anger while sizing Liberty up. The other man, who looked twice as big, and half as smart, as Maximus, was the first to speak.

 

"You will hold your insolent tongue, Female," He warned, "Or you will face the wrath of Brutus the Invincible!"

 

"Seriously? That's what you call yourself?" Liberty asked.

 

"Well, this has become the worst first contact mission in the history of the Galaxy," Aurora said to herself, and then turning to Liberty, "I must apologize for my companions boorish behavior. I shall remove them and we will leave your world is peace."

 

"You do not speak for us, Alien!" Maximus snarled, and a beam of energy from a glowing green disc on his chest struck Aurora, causing her to scream in pain . . .
