You can also build odd duplicates in the same body.  I build a hydra that way: many duplicates, all tied together, so you can hack head after head off, and each head can attack separately, none of which is hugely tough but the monster as a whole is quite a battle to put down.

Summon is the best way to do disposable duplicates that I've seen.

Duplication can also be used to model astral projection, though I think published characters in 6e tend to use Extradimensional Movement with a Leaves Physical Body Behind Disadvantage. It would be particularly appropriate for someone like Raven, who can continue to take some actions while separate from the projection.

Problem with using Summon is the one-phase disorientation period and the control roll.  It gets kind of hazy to use in combat.

Have you looked into Duplication as a special effect of other powers? Stretching, Blast, and Extra Limbs are idea for this.

I don't think the size change was there initially, but added by a later writer and now often used. I'm also not sure he's demonstrated the advantages we associate with the Hero Games shrinking power. I think he probably combines Duplicates that are different from the base character and dupplicates that are weaker than the base character.

Urd from the anime/manga Ah(Oh) My Godess. In fact, Beldandy and Suld can do that also (they usually do not). The more duplications Urd creates, the more disorted they become.

True, but the disorientation could be house-ruled away, or you could buy a point of SPD usable by others that can only be used by summoned beings to recover from being stunned.

 

Buying even as little as +1/4 Amicable advantage eliminates having to make the control roll.

 

Using Summon is a little more expensive than using Duplication, but not tremendously so.
