It's using a possible (yes, probable) special effect to define the power itself creating light is only a very common special effect to describe images, not the power itself

    Re: Only in Hero ID How SID affects OIHID is if the hero requires battle armor (or something else the character cannot wear in SID) then he must get into the battle armor (taking at least a phase) to "Hero Up" the SID also means you have to do it where people can't see you
