  1. Didn't they have a song? ANyway, it's nobody's business but the Turks. Tucker's kobolds vs an angry pack of honey badgers.
  2. Actually, I meant the district. (I stupidly forgot I was among the comic obsessed )
  3. Wretched hive contest Mos Eisley vs DC
  4. Twos, you just dont want to have to deal with teenagers, seppuku sounds like a good option compared to that
  5. In the interest of constructive criticism: I will say from my experience, it does seem one way or another, the liberal side does seem to be better at avoiding the other point of view, in comparison to conservatives. The one danger in that is that it does make one more vulnerable to demonization of the "other". (course, I think some conservatives seek out liberal input for purely strategic purposes)
  6. Hmm, I do know I do tend to place high value on loyalty in regular life (though not towards political party, more country, family and friend oriented). I might not rate high on Care/Harm. It isn't so much that I don't care, but my feelings do tend toward a "if you try to save everyone, you might end up saving none". ANd yeah, Freedom/Oppression probably is big for me. As in life, I merely wish to be left alone to do my thing. I know that simple desire affects me irrationally at times. The other 2, I don't if it really impacts, at least conventionally for me. Course, I may be completely wrong on all of them, for all I know.
  7. Battle of the forgotten American wars War of 1812 vs Mexican-American War
  8. I am sensing the winner is: Hormonal Teenage Boys
  9. Cavalier because he at least tried on his name
  10. Well, actually I've heard calling him a sieve on defense, is an insult to sieves.
  11. Thanks, I've just always wanted to know where one was coming from. It is probably impossible to know what the "true" motivation is. ANd I naturally mistrust politicians. In any case, I cant really take the high ground, necessarily. I can think of a couple of past occasions where I've considered "Blue Dog Democrats" of merely being liberals shrewd enough to get something in return for their allegiance. Don't know if it was cynicism, not giving those I oppose the benefit of the doubt in their beliefs or both. (just trying to be honest here, I try to be fair in these matters, but I know my biases take some effect, 2016 has kind equalized things for me a bit, though I don't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing that the equalizer is probably towards cynicism than anything else)
  12. Don't mean to pick on you, specificially. But, I only hear this about Republicans who go against their party. Would the feelings be the same if a Democrat who felt this was a good bill and supported in contradiction to his party? Usually, when that happens "traitor" and "sell-out" gets thrown about, in general (not necessarily here) It isn't like the Republicans are any better. And I am not too sure whether my own feelings would be consistent in the past (though these days I find myself disagreeing with both parties on too many things). But, it is something that draws my curiousity.
  13. I don't know about it much, but one of the things that were being thrown about was that all the insurance companies had pulled out of 94 of 99 counties in Iowa. Someone should probably check on that, who wants to investigate this further, I suppose. I have my insurance through employer, so I have no idea about my own county in VA.
  14. I couldn't understand why they didn't open borders in the first place if they actually wanted it to work.
  15. Interesting, Harden does make it hard for a worthwhile conventional PG at that.
  16. Jeremy Lin to me, is probably a good backup PG option, but, if you regularly need more than 20 minutes out of him, it isnt good.
  17. Spawn had a good movie? oh and........ no capes!
  18. Well, I dont know how much the son will do in controversy, but that father (AKA the walking nightmare that is daddyball in amateur sports, or rather the nightmares that those dads have) will make sure he wont go away. THough, in theory he could make for some interesting matchups for the Lakers in which they can go double-PG in the backcourt. THough, he probably has as much chance as becoming some 3rd guard backup (which would still make him somewhat valuable in actuality, but with the hype, we'd have to hear the word disappointment thrown about)
  19. Sauron is on the march to rule the ancient world, what will happen Mordor vs Sparta Note: I might have done this one.
  20. Penguin. Morgan Freeman is a friend. And in the Legion of Doom in the 1970s, Riddler was worse than useless.
  21. Maybe it's down the street from One-Eyed Willie's
  22. That happens surprisingly often after hurricanes, so I've been told.
