  1. Over Chuck Norris, you're dead to me. Red vs Orange? Tough one. Orange was my favorite childhood color, but red is the color of blood, which will be seen when Chuck Norris finds out about this.
  2. The Dems did a poor job in thinking possibilities over. (seems there plan was once passed, opponents would magically bend over in full acceptance and submission. which has never happened in the history of ever). Though I am pretty sure the premiums started going up as soon as the implication (no the vote actually), though not necessarily in a spike maybe until later. UNforutnately when Pelosi said "we had to pass it to find out what was in it, that wasn't a joke. And the GOP's plan was to hopefully never gain enough power to actually have to do anything. They got "screwed over" with this Trump victory thing, too. Note: though for me, the if you want to keep your doctor you can part came with the fine print "but you'll have to do all the paperwork yourself". though the clinic my doctor is at, and my insurance company FINALLY got their differences worked out this year.
  3. Hmm, with the current obsession here with birds, maybe I should take a pic of the newborn Orioles outside the window at work. (I'll probably never remember but anyway)
  4. NASCAR vs Star Wars pod racing
  5. Enron since the Houston baseball stadium was initially named Enron (now Minute Maid) and I still call it that now and again.
  6. Drivers to Insanity: Care Bears vs Cthulhu
  7. Neither, with my die-rolling luck I avoid randomness rolls, as I get the worst of all worlds.
  8. Probably, though they could be used as Champions characters. Felicia would probably be your typical catgirl in a lot of ways. I'd have to reread the character backstories, though.
  9. The latter gets the Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno bonus win. And for having the hitchhiker you least want to pick up
  10. Well, for the outfielder it probably depends on whether he is on the MLB 40-man roster, or is MLB veteran hanging on, etc. (Toledo is a AAA team). But, overall good point, lower levels get paid scraps (by some arguments once all the time spent at the park is figured out, less than minimum wage even) Until free agency most players even MLBers had to take winter jobs.
  11. Yeah, I do seem to remember now that I think about it, that the 76ers were considering trying the triangle one year. Way back in the Iguodala era. But, that was during some pre-season issue of some magazine, so I don't know if they went through with it. If they did, it being the 76ers probably speaks for itself.
  12. Yeah, technically the last 10-12 years Mack was really only a figurehead anyway, his coaches did a lot of the in-game management, as I understand. Supposedly he'd occasionally fall asleep in the dugout during those years. Note: And his 1916 team was the worst of the 20th century, even worse winning pct than 62 Mets. But, yeah after 1914 he pulled that era's equivalent of what the Marlins do after winning a championship. Nearly everybody worth anything were either traded or jumped to the Federal League
  13. Yeah, well I know for myself the only things I have thrown out of the car window*, were bits of unfinished burger and other food (even then extreme occasion) and out in the country some feral something or other will solve that problem. *At least since age 21, I never really was one to throw anything other than that out, but I probably at some point did something in my young and stupid years.
  14. No, I was too busy crying for mercy from the intense pain.
  15. Why cant they go away? Kim Kardashian vs Tim Tebow
  16. I'm sorry I was too busy weeping over the tragedy those movies were made. (Man of Steel if I had to choose, and you are willing to pay the bill for my pain and suffering from them)
  17. Course, as also a hater, I despite think they probably are being a bit harsh in some ways. It seems a common theme in sports, that eventually a coach/manager/GM eventually loses touch as they get older. If they dont retire for good or die off, it always happens eventually. One book I have, is about evaluating Baseball's Managers through the years and that tends to be the case. Although, Casey Stengel and Connie Mack are the prime famous examples, quite a few others had some severe drop off in effectiveness in their final destination.
  18. People seem to like improperly discarding their trash. It is like the #1 hobby where I live. (I'd say you can find a new garbage bag on the side of the road, everyday I go to work.
  19. Yeah, never really was a fan of the triangle. It seems to work well with Jackson's past teams, which didnt have a conventional PG, but had a dominant do everything wing (Bryant, Jordan). It's always seemed to me to be an offense that wasnt ideal for your classic setup. I am not as nuanced in basketabll as other sports, has there ever been a non-Phil Jackson team that had real success running it?
  20. But, that's nothing, I think I pooped a Kraken one time (though strangely, I had eaten Mexican, not seafood)
  21. Ehh, I want my spirit to wander the Earth aimlessly for a couple of millenia first.
  22. DUde, if I cared that much about sailing, I'd watch the POTC movies again.
  23. The Copper Lady Originally The Mistress of the Copper Mountain, one of the first imprisoned, she was victim of the Communist regime desire to rid itself of undesireable elements that might let the masses think of their past folklore and not to the future under Soviet rule. It is unclear how they kept her prisoner since such a place would normally be her domain. The Ghost picked her for help with her knowledge of how mines work. She proved invaluable in the groups' working towards the surface. Her powers seem to be stone/earth related. (and for some reason she can turn into a lizard)
