The ultimate for today's game would be Ted Williams, given his obsessive-compulsive nature for improvement, he'd love all the video footage he could parse through on pitchers' tendencies.

Definitely agree.  Though, I ended up in a bit of a fight over mentioning similar a bit back on this very thread.   Most of which got taken down, so I'll avoid any more details.

I broke a 15+ year drought of avoiding theaters for that abomination, too.  I did gain an appreciation for the prequels, at least  (as long as a Fast-Forward button is available for certain parts)

The character assassination of Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi is disgusting. I now understand why Mark Hamill was trying to warn us fans...and why Disney was desperate to censor him. There are plenty of Star Wars novels that would have made far better films than The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. The Star Wars prequels might be heavily flawed installments (with the exception of Revenge of the Sith), but at least they were attempts at originality with fight scenes that felt fun. I can't help but wonder if the filmmakers inadvertently ruined TLJ with their goal of spreading certain messages to the moviegoers.

Well, I seemed to have had a dream of Jack Sparrow, Indiana Jones, and the Skipper* from Gilligan's Island trying to beat both a group of Nazis, and a group of mutant pirates to get the plans of superweapon designed by Leonardo da Vinci.

*mostly Sparrow and Jones, the Skipper just provided transportation.

The main problem with removing KA is that every single defense power is priced based on existance of both Normal and Killing Damage, and the opportunity cost that comes from having significant amounts of nonresistant defenses.
Oh... it is also Impossible to legally create an attack that causes Penetrating BODY without Killing Attacks... which significantly reduces the value of that modifier because who gives a rats ass about few points of STUN slipping through defenses when some usually gets through anyway by system design.

It is really, really hard to significantly damage anybody if they are receiving up to half-again as many points worth of defenses for the same price. Also... you can't really use any prepublished material as a change of that magnitude requires extensive conversion to prevent imbalances: Such as characters who had 30 PD but little to no rPD suddenly becoming totally indestructable, and vehicles who no longer have enough total defense to compete with the higher DCs and levels of armor piercing required to simulate lethal attacks.

If you are going to remove the KA... remove non-resistant defenses as well, and make everyone pay the resistant price for their defenses. That is fairer to all of the other game elements that have Resistant defenses by default (pretty much everything except characters).

I was five years old when the first Star Wars film came out. I grew up Star Wars, which was the first mythic cycle that filled my imagination and informed my psyche. For me Star Wars begins and ends with Luke Skywalker. His story began in A New Hope and ended in The Last Jedi. His tale, and the essential mythic cycle of Star Wars, is now complete. The epic circle is closed and everything else is footnotes and commentary. Rey is a great character and worthy successor and Daisy Ridley is well cast. I like her. But her tale is not my tale. Its not Luke's tale. Disney's cash-cow adventures add nothing to the archetypal core at the heart of Star Wars. Neither did the prequels, really. Those are to Star Wars as the Silmarillion is to The Lord of the Rings. Interesting as apocrypha, but essentially superfluous. My Star Wars is done. It came and went with Luke. There comes a time when we must put childish things aside. Not because they aren't important, and not because they did not (and do not) inform key aspects of who we are, but because we are now adults. May Luke be with you, always.

Actually Kapernick, would do well to go to Canada.  The baggage he has probably wont matter up there (unless he wants to kneel to the Leaf...... maybe).  And Kapernick could probably be a Doug Flutie type star up there.  In America, he is likely a #2 with huge baggage dragging behind him.

Well, I admit I feel lucky sometimes.  Given some of my male cousins and their wives.  Including one with a similar personality to mine, his wife was quite the manipulator.  Although, his experience doesn't necessarily factor into any decisions.  Given how alike we are it sometimes make me think of the expression "but for the grace of God, go I" (paraphrased).

Of course, that doesn't mean I think all women are like that to be sure.  But, it does say I might be similarly vulnerable.  And being the introvert I am, it really might be better to have never married, rather than married wrong.

Besides the introverted part of me loves its free time, and I know I'd lose a lot of it in a marriage.     (and at this point I'm not one to change much).
