Re: Looking for teams. Dragon Age: Origins is amazing! Still enjoying it immensely. I love the fact that every action has consequences, and the game is morally ambiguous. Let's just say that even many of the "obviously good answers" are often not that good. In one case, your options boil down to committing murder for the church to uphold teachings on magic, allowing the mother to sacrifice her own life to fuel a spell to allow you to save her son (if you freed the guy who practices forbidden magic), or appeal to the mages for help but knowing the kid's exposure means he will be taken away under the law and never inherit his titles. So, save all the lives and break up the family, allow the mom to sacrifice herself and keep things quiet so the kid can inherit his royal position someday, or follow the law and commit murder are your choices. Or you could simply walk away and let the horror begin again...

For only 2 relatively thin books, so many details have been packed into them that I continue to be impressed. Kudos Shadowcat, your writing (and that of Randy and Rob) is outstanding! Was expecting my new CPU to be delivered yesterday and hoping it would be before work. Nope, at 2:30P their site still said out for delivery. Got home around 3A and no notice on my door. Checked the site and it said left at front desk back at noon. /spit Had I known, I could have picked it up before work and installed it by now. Now I have to pick it up from the office tomorrow, go to work, and wait 23 hours until I can install it. Your mileage may be similar.

Re: money and weapons? The currency is called Resources, representing favors at your beck and call. Power Replacements can unlock costumes, allowing you to unlock weapon skins. If you are like my main and have zero weapon powers, you will never see them. If you are like one of my alts who uses swords, all sword power replacements (single and dual) unlock weapon skins for her, but the gun ones do nothing. I have another alt who will possibly do guns someday, and still need to roll an archer to see all of the weapon skins I can unlock via quests and crafting and random drops.

Re: Is This Power Viable Cramming has a new optional table in APG on pg 36 allowing you to buy it at a higher level to take longer to boost the skill roll. I didn't see this earlier. Just got the book and still skipping through it.
