Re: Is This Power Viable Also consider talents like Universal Translator, True Jack of All Trades, Universal Scientist, Universal Pilot, and Universal Scholar from the APG pgs 48-50 to represent picking things up quickly without becoming an expert at them. They are each 20 points or so and represent having an 11- roll on most skill checks due to instinct and picking facts up. You could have a special effect to simulate cramming or to add to the die roll.

Re: Do PFF and Invulnerability Stack? Passive Defenses get slotted into build defense slots. Some defenses only work with certain builds. Invuln works with all 4 builds, whereas PFF only goes into Defensive and Balanced builds (same as Regen). It's an either/or thing. If you use Invuln, you cannot use Regen/LR/PFF/Defiance at the same time. You could use Invuln for Support and Avenger builds and PFF for Defensive and Balanced if you'd like. Invuln stacks with STR for flat damage reduction and CON for % reduction. If you are not high in CON, consider dropping it.

Had to rebuild my PC thanks to the motherboard dying, now forced to use a single core spare CPU since my 940 black's pins were bent. Thermal grease caused it to stick to the heat sink, pulling out the chip when I removed the heat sink even though the chip was locked.

My characters, made years ago and mostly untouched since shortly after CoV came out, are still there waiting for me. Whenever CoX sends out free weekend notices, I log into them and look around. No need to delete.

Re: Best of the Best I love Energy Shield with Laser Knight. All of my melee toons take it. Any time I make a melee attack, it pops up and mitigates damage nicely. Extra staying power. Resurgence is also godly. The more CON you have, the more it heals for, and it breaks holds. Havok Stomp is underrated. Fully charge and it throws foes away while giving you enrage. Shockwave has become my favorite power. Once I rank it to two (instead of Uppercut), it should resume killing equal level henchmen, and it even knocks villains off their feat. And cancels travel powers.

Shipping would have had major issues, but I could coat my walls with the pages of the books duct-taped together and never had to worry about radiation or a nuclear explosion again. Assuming my apartment's structure is strong enough to stay intact with those pages taped to the walls, ceiling, floor, and roof. Thinking I need to protect the outside to keep the place intact during the initial explosion, and on the inside to ensure no radiation makes it through of pages outside are blown away, stolen, fall off. I live in Nevada, 90 miles from the test site, can't be too careful.

Re: MA/Claws... is there any Hope? I mainly play Might and am trying Dual Blades. Overall, I do more damage per hit than my ranged friends, but I have to close the distance and hope they don't step back on a windup. This is making me consider ranged attacks more and more, especially with Imbue as I continue to read the PVP boards.

But then, I have anger issues when it comes to people attempting to overthrow and undermine me.

Re: Questions about Champions in general. Your powers autolevel with you and can be ranked higher for effect or given special effect advantages for control or additional abilities. You can also mix and match any power from any framework. Tradeskills can be leveled, with 3 types (arms, science, mysticism) with three flavor subbranches that are the same differing in flavor text under them. Those make good items to slot, and you can customize them. There are no drops to farm (save for the uber rare Foxbat Zombie pet in the Takofanes event). You can buy items to slot with points you earn, rely on drops, or make your own.

Re: MA/Claws... is there any Hope? The Claws Powerset in CO does not do AOE attacks (it should), and climbing is not in the game (acrobatics can scale walls with slight slopes).
