Re: Champions Background Information I remember seeing Champions ads in my comics in the 1980s but never got to so much as see it until 5E. My understanding was Champions is the superhero genre for HERO game rules, a guide for making your own superhero setting with examples. Champions Universe is the official background setting you can use to expand on the examples in Champions. If you want to M&M, you can use Champions Universe material to fill out your own setting with conversion. If you want to HERO, you can use Champions Universe material to fill out your own setting without conversion. Champions itself is a good guidebook for making your own setting and could be used for M&M, but M&M should already have that information as it is a Superhero game only.

Re: List Your CO Nemeses! Steve's already at 40, some event might trigger it. Personally, I miss Nacht Madchen and can't wait to face her again. Is it wrong to want your character to make out with her nemesis?

Re: Free Champions Online Weekend! No worries, glad you tried it, but games resonate differently for people. Prefer CO with the Xbox 360 controller I picked up. Now as for STO, debating on which ship class to go with. Tempted to stick with Heavy Cruiser for that awesome blend of capabilities.

Re: MA/Claws... is there any Hope? Claws and Unarmed seem overall blah. Consider dual blades. I like it on my alt. Look up Eye of the Storm with Blade Beyond the Veil advantage to see a damn good reason to retcon to it.

Re: Takofanes, where is he? Created my healbot. Literally, Caelestis the (Malfunctioning) Healbot now lives! And since the name was too long, you'd have to read her bio to see that she's malfunctioning. Wrote her as a production anomaly with freewill and distracted nature that takes away from healing. Robot appearance with the new mechanical wings, fire flight set to violet for celestial energies, and I allow her to be "distracted" (my cover if I am healing and suck). Kara hit 31, but I agree with Shrike, I died so many times on Tiger. Nimbus I soloed, Vigil I tanked and was barely hurting, but Vanguard required a lot of folks. Tiger is still the one who gives me nightmares.

Re: Takofanes, where is he? Folks, I hit the CO forums last night to find Tako and discovered the Tako hunting channel that allowed me to actually find and face him twice before DT. Join channel Takofanaes_Spawn to locate and hunt him. They have people scattered throughout the MC instances keeping track, and so far there seems to be a 6 hour window normally between spawns on each instance. I suspect they might speed it up for this weekend's event. As it is, once located, he's dead in under 2 minutes as we swarm on him to complete the perks and attempt to get Foxbat.

Might be calling in a favor for Necrulwhatshisface in Canada soon, but will try to solo it first. You however might have a slight problem because of a certain 1980 movie that I love. Remember when you recommended to Ming to destroy an obscure body in the Eskay system that the inhabitants call Earth? Well, we have long memories and you are now playing on Earth.

Re: Takofanes, where is he? Discovered you have to somehow get the foe's attention to get the quests. Grabbed 3 perks killing zombos (zombie heroes) when I finally got the quest for Radion. Gained 4 more quests from one of our awesome guildies, many thanks to him. Got Radion's quests presumably because I kept using Defensive Combo to pull his aggro. Off to bed now, should have time over the next several days to do these quests for perks. Might try farming an instance for a zombo I have saved for celestial shards and a chance for a Foxbo zombo pet.

Re: Earth: 7.5 Billion AD If the moon were gone, it would be easier to sleep (assuming no meteors hit) at night without that extra light keeping us up. Plus we wouldn't have to worry about corporate logos being added to its surface to annoy us. Although I did like that logo in Hancock...

Re: Earth: 7.5 Billion AD I'm still surprised the moon is still in orbit. Thought for sure we'd lose it due to a nuclear accident supposed to happen a decade ago. Was so hoping to explore space with Eagle landers and meet alien civilizations. We haven't been to the moon in my lifetime, and I am 35. Sad. No Space 1999 adventures for me.
