Re: Abilities Discussion Try Unbreakable, Steve. It's a damage ignore that could represent your willpower defying threats, while Resurgence could represent your ability to come back when down but not out. Remember, Regen scales with Recovery, not Presence.

Re: Star-Trek-Gate-Wars 5 Some of the Star Trek PC games had you playing tactical takedowns. Obviously the less competant personnel got more screentime, the real heavies stayed off camera to ensure you would never see them coming for you.

Re: Escapist reviews CO. I really prefer Mindslayer's updated looks. She's attractive, very attractive, now. I equally hate Menton's updated looks. He went from someone I actually envied to Erkel. Still, they own the IP, and I am still a fan. Plus Mindslayer is delicious! Was tempted to say hi to her when I was in Stronghold, might go back and do so later.

Re: Abilities Discussion I mainly spend my advantages on maxed defense, maxed heal, and the special abilities for most powers, taking only one attack to rank 2. Works very well so far. On my main, Dr. Kara Lokidottir (Might) only Uppercut will be taken to rank 2.

Re: Traveller Hero I too got my hopes up and went to that site to look. Nope, no current copies. He must mean his old purchases can still be redownloaded but no new copies are being sold. I looked under Hero and Traveller both. Still think purchasing TNE and FF&S in the mid 1990's was one of my best purchases ever.

Re: Free character pics I would love one. Dr. Kara Lokidottir is finally playing with her costume slots. Currently going for smooth lines all metal purple suit that covers all from the neck down, but will continue to tweak as I unlock costume pieces between now and November.

Re: Interdimensional stories I love this series. Came on the CDs included with some of my Honor Harrington hardcovers. In short, in a coal mining town in West Virginia circa 2000, as a wedding is occuring, that town is suddenly exchanged with a burned down German village from 1631 under unknown natural circumstances. Now, stuck in the past and creating an alternate future, these former citizens of the United States of America are gonna bring freedom and democracy to Europe and do their best to stop the genocide between nominally Protestant and Catholic forces. Sadly, someone gave Cardinal Richelou some of the history books from the American's school. Richelou has united English and Spanish forces to stop that future from happening at all costs, and to preserve the power of the monarchy. Fortunately, Sweden allies with the newly formed United States (Town plus German provinces that join a Federation). Sweet series. Kudos also for remembering The Apprentice Adept series. Loved the Rovot Adept and Piers Anthony.

Re: List Your CO Heroes! Yep, he sure is. Was commenting on that in chat earlier. Steve says he doesn't reclaim the Hercules Force, but instead draws his power from Takofanes.

Re: Ash for Blood Moon Thinking crafted items and quest rewards would make up KI. Super stats were for regen. Figure the crits would be a nice perk, but Ash is NOT known for his luck. Also picked stats that did NOT increase his Int (aside from Jack of All Trades which he certainly is). Ash is known for persevering and making things happen, not thinking ahead of time. Although his chainsaw hand and modified vehicle was inspired choices.

Re: Respecing Might based on Test Server notes Roomsweeper is for getting foes off from me. Works well, especially when I want henchmen to give me breathing room while I solo a supervillain. Uppercut is my main attack, often alternated with Beatdown when I want to lower a foe's health fast. Tap Upper, Beatdown, repeat. Haymaker is mainly for the Nullifying Punch advantage, might be used after a Demolish, but mainly to get a foe off from me and to reduce his healing. Waiting for Nullifying Punch to be fixed with regards to Regen, so it is now my L38 power. I am L26 and working my way up still.

Re: Respecing Might based on Test Server notes Clobber is fantastic. Remember, I now have energy shield with laser knight. Every punch gives me protection. I regen energy fast and almost always have the shield up mitigating damage without having to block. So long as I close range, I am golden. If a foe flies, I fly up to him. Clobber is a fast regen and scales with my strength. I only lose the shield if I am not attacking. Changed the powers up a bit. Shockwave will come at 29, Hurl at 32, Demolish, Teleport, then Haymaker last. Love to skip Hurl, but the removal of travel powers screams use me in PVP or when a foe flies and I choose not to climb up to get him.

Re: List Your CO Nemeses! There's a bug, we are unable to select Sorcery. My foe was supposed to be Sorcery ala Superman's weakness to magic. Had to settle for Dark, and it's a really good fight. Darkness foes vs. Might, nice and tough challenge.

Re: List Your CO Nemeses! Kara now faces the dread Nacht Madchen (German for Night Maiden)! Nacht (her unknown cousin, daughter of Hel, granddaughter of Loki) felt the birth of Kara's power as the blood of Loki resonated, and came to Midgard to see the manifestation. Horrified to see the power wasted on mere physical manifestation of superhuman body, Nacht has decided to kill Kara and steal her blood in order to magnify her control over dimensional energies. Arriving with an army of undead souls courtesy of her mother, Nacht is here for Kara's life only. Nacht is a varient on Karen Lokidottir's appearance with black dragon wings and black clothing with arcane necklace and headpiece. She's a mastermind with dark powers and uses undead melee villains with dark powers. Goal was to have a very tough challenge for Kara's Might build to face and to keep the foes mostly melee and within reach. Sadly, she was meant to be Sorcery with dark weilding demons, but the Nemesis creator won't let you pick Sorcery. Darkness it is.
