  1. To do that, does it need to be on a site? Or is there something I'm missing when you attach a file?
  2. I'm curious about something ... why does some art show up on the boards, while other art is just a link? Is it a format problem? Or a size problem?
  3. Depends on who's writting her ... If you look at her battle against the fake Doomsday, she took a beating, but also held her own till she eventually beat the monster. Another possibility is to lower her defenses as Glen suggests, but also to give her a form of regeneration, she is, after all, a goddess
  4. Carny Folk ... the have small hands and smell like cabbage
  5. I haven't snagged SoB because I'm not a big fan of adventures ... personally, I think that adventures should be kept in things like DH and e-products used to focus on detailing the system further, adding depth to campaign settings or allow for alternative campaign settings ... Something like a group book (ie: Eurostar) would make a good book, detailing their tactics, stats and equipment with maybe a short adventure in the back. I'd love to see superhero group PDFs with some info on the characters, allies and enemies, as well as equipment, vehicles and bases ... then maybe have a module in the back that focuses on the group along with some plot hooks. The old Villains and Vigilantes module "Crisis at Crusaders Citidel" comes to mind when I think of the adventure types Also, a book on specific gadgets ... like a Robot Handbook, listing several robots for any campaign and having some flavored ones for use in specific genre conventions As far as price ... PDFs IMHO should be low cost, ranging from $7 - $15 at most. I know that I wouldn't pay for anything higher cost than that. Color pics would be nice, though not entirely nesscessary ... gimme crunchy bits and a nice format with some good illustrations of what's going on anyday
  6. Re: Re: TV Teen Titans Amen to that ... or at least bring in the original Titans: Speedy, Aqualad, Wonder Girl and Kid Flash
  7. I regretfully have seen it ... my wife and kids are addicted to the blasted thing. The Robin in the 'toon is indeed Tim ... and has been relatively detached from The Bat, which, IMHO, is a bad idea ... I like the animation and I love the theme ... but I REALLY wish they would make them more like the actual Titans ...
  8. Hmm ... I don't know if I'd give Diana LS: Self-Contained Breathing. Most of the times when she's in space, both her and Kal need O2 masks like many other heroes ...I'd also look at the lasso again ... I think the entangle should be compounded with the Mind Control, or perhaps have the entangle out of the MP, with the MP linked to the entangle? Otherwise it's pretty keen looking
  9. I would actually recommend GURPS Bloodtypes as well ... interesting book with some vampire templates from around the world in it Could be immensly helpful
  10. A while back, there was a thread about the Teen Sentinels ... I worked up this pic of Teen Seeker and just recently colored it
  11. Re: Need help with a superpower. I would group it together as a MP first off ... Strength for arms is good ... Jumping for legs is probably best, though if he can just lengthen the legs, then use running How about Armor for expanding the dermal layer of skin? Or perhaps added Intelligence for expanding his head ala Leader? Maybe a Perception bonus for big eyes or ears? Added Dexterity for lengthened fingers? HKA for grown nails? As for affecting others, if it's random parts, I would use Drain or Entangle, showing that they don't have the capacity of understanding their newfound abilities
  12. This image is from a book that I'm working on ... He's a Deathstroke/Grifter fuison called Headhunter
  13. I was poking through my files and found this image ... don't think I posted it here before. This is Pagan, a strange fusion of Dr. Fate, Dr. Strange and Phantasm from the Titans comic a while back
  14. Black Canary II (Dinah Lance) regained her Canary Cry after a dip in one of Ra's Al Ghul's Lazrus Pits after she had almost died ...
  15. I agree 100% ... which is too bad because love the GURPS system (especially the Horror genre book)
  16. I prefer VPP as my style of magic What I do is one of the following: 1) RSR - Type of magic. Depending on the skill, the mage must have the proper skill to cast it. You want to cast a fireball spell? You need the Evocation and Elemental skills to rip it off properly. 2) Magic Element. On top of skills, I occasionally have used rules akin to WE from UMA to emulate a mage having some knowledge. Purchased as 3 pt. Talents, MEs are specialized forms of magic that the user buys to give the magic some flavor. So, when casting a Fireball, I would have RSR - Element Magic (-1/2) and Requires ME: Fire (-1/2) to cast As for point efficiency ... IMHO, magic should be expensive and should take time to master BIG spells ... after all, not all 150pt. characters should be Gandalf
  17. Gotta agree with Neil here It is fun! I recently have been compiling notes from my campiagn world, which has been going on for about 15 years now ... and has seen MANY game systems ... at one point, we had all the characters for every supers game statted out for each game ... just in case we wanted to change games or play in someone elses universe (we had occasionally cross overs with DC and Marvel in the early 90s ).
  18. Excellent! I'm looking foward to the new wave of SA material!
  19. I would say I was 60% Narrativist, 34% Simulationist and 6% Gamist Unfortunatly, most of the time I'm in a group of 75% Gamists ... though I've lucked out recently and have a solid group of storyplayers

  22. I've actually been looking at the leveling conversion ... when converting my players' characters over to FREd, I've given them 10pts/level after first ... For example: Someone's playing a 5th level Fighter. I would assign an appropriate Package Deal for the Character's concept and then apply 40pts XP for the additional levels, spending it on skills, combat levels, a stat increase or two and anything else that applies
  23. My favorite moment was when I was playing Gladiator, a 15 year old kid that could turn into a 12 foot robot. He was my 3rd character for Champs back in the 80s and was quite strong, durable and had an undefined energy blast. Well, the group ended up in a Vampire Den and were attacked by waves of the bloodsuckers. While in the midst of battle, I let loose with my 12d6 e-blast and the following discussion occured: GM: "Okay ... what type of energy is your e-blast?" Me: "Uhh ....<the sound of scribbling can be heard as I start writing on my character sheet> ... Refined Solar Energy ... yeah." GM: "What?! No it isn't!" Me: <holding up the sheet with the words "Solar Energy" scribbled next to the e-blast> "It is now!" With a grimace, he allowed it, as he should've had everyone define their characters before hand. But from that day forth, we all made sure that characters had defined abilities so we could avoid the "Gladiator" fiasco
