For some reason I was thinking about using nanites to make costumes. Be able to afford protection, heal, etc, as well as be able to be absorbed into clothing already there....
I have in my games before, though it has been awhile. I tend to cut the limit at 64ft though, anything taller and it involves burnout, IEC, Side Effects and possibly Extra-Dimensional.
I was thinking Accidental Change or modifying Berserk/Enraged. I went with Accidental change and some OIHIDs. She doesn't really change form as much as personality - at times she may even use powers she's unaware of in her non-super id (i.e. waking up in the middle of the air, or striking someone at super-speed as a gut reaction). Also playing with the idea of there being a "third" real personality that's a mix of the two that comes out every once in a blue moon.
I'm trying to remember how you would do someone with split personality, especially one who's powers are only in one identity (I'm thinking Aurora from Alpha Flight for the longest time).
Going back I'm going with the duplication with a few items tossed in. I'll post it when I can.
I'll go hide under my pile of New Universe comics now....oh the humiliation...
Was hoping for the information from APG.
Pages are reversed but hopefully you get the. Both characters are run by a single player (in this case) with the GM stepping in in case of abuse.
Both kids clasp hands / bang bracelets and become Valor (male or female).
IMHO the book and it's supplements are worth picking up. There is a very high Astro City vibe to the books that allow you to build what you want into the campaign world while still fleshing out enough to work with. I remember one part of Radio/TV stations that list the top 10 with 3-4 slots left open for the Reff to fill in himself if he wants.
As I said before, I think it'd be interesting to use GOSH as a fill in for the SSR (the per-cursor of SHIELD), now rather it's into UNTIL or something else who knows.
I'm thinking of how they did Firestar's power in Avengers and New Warriors, and a few other books where the characters power is slowly killing them. I can see it as a Side Effect. What about a small Change Environment (as part of Side Effect) if it damages people and things around them as well?
Just as the title says. At time in super games (as well as magic) you have players whose powers are slowly killing the person when they use them.
Side Effect I know is pretty much it. Any ideas on how to set it up so it's a little bit less then 1bod every time character uses..maybe similar to what was suggested in Grimiore(sp) of 0.5pt or 0.1pt when used, slowly accumulating?
