  1. I'm not a big fan of loose the points if X happens on anything. Should the player automatically get them back? Depend on what happens and the concept. A dupe dying should come back eventually or have the points put into a hidden power or skill. Some skills or other powers may be altered (tri-jitsu with one less?). If the dupe is energy related perhaps it takes awhile to build up a new one. In the end like any game it's a matter of the GM setting up his rules and possibilities.
  2. Put this under Dark Champions or Urban Fantasy. A group of Vampire Hunters. I recently showed this to my players telling them that just because they're playing the same character type doesn't mean they put some personality into them. And no,I don't know how the guy stands straight with that afro.
  3. Got the letters with the help of a friend. Now just need the numbers.
  4. Where is the updated docs?
  5. You can also find the Gor movie on YouTube.
  6. Thats who I was talking about, couldn't remember his name. Sooo many of those d**n characters to remember....
  7. lockquote widget Try Wildguard by Todd Nauck. A hero team is built on a reality show. One of the wildcats had growth and became less intelligent the more he grew. Normally I toss out some of the duplication rules. I'll sit down with the player and talk about what he wants the character to be like and work out a pointage. I have a set list of comics I go by (mainly 70s-90s) and if it works in there you can do it. Sure you can move the sun, got the str for it? Yes I want to do this like the flash, ok work with me and we'll stat it out the best we can.
  8. Dark Champions as Simon said or you can find it in Advanced Player's Guide I. It basically gives you a pool of points to buy equipment, vehicles, contacts, etc. outside your normal pool of character points. I have used it for games before and it works well enough.
  9. Off topic I know was just having a memory of DC One Million...the Atom of the 854th Century is able to split himself into duplicates...the catch? He shrinks for each duplicate he creates.
  10. Iirc champions beyond had a swarm type character. I'll have to take a look in the morning. Did desolid with some limitations.
  11. Try taking a look at Spartan 7 from WildC.A.T.s from Wildstorm in the 90s.
  12. And that reminds me I still need to see the movie. Yes, movie and Jack Palance is in it so go figure. When I first saw the articles or made me want to go and read the books so I understood the characters. Zelazney, Howard, and Lovecraft was the first. C.J Cherryh came next. When they did the article on Kurtz' Deryni (a race of psionic mage's) I went to waldenbooks and picked up the first series and loved it. Because of X2 (Castle of Amber) I picked up what I could find then of Clark Ashton Smith's works. [Note: they have gone back and collected all of his works. The Houston library has copies, may want to check your local one]
  13. I caught it in the middle and went huh? I like it, though yes I agree it could be more of an off white.
  14. Is nightwing. The cycle and can are in the upcoming nightwing annual. The other art is Brett Booth's work on his own book - when I get the chance I'll ask him her name.
  15. I toss the duplication rule out personally. You can create a form that's more expensive iirc. It's been a while since I've read it.
  16. The general tab under Preferences.
  17. I thought that looked a little funny. I blame dragon and D&D for giving me my reading habits.
  18. I will have to find the artist to give proper credit. Posted on Twitter a few days ago. We
  19. If you can find the old DRAGON magazines you might like to look these up. Mainly put up as a suggested reading list for the fantasy people here.
  20. Old school primer that was mentioned earlier. A Quick Primer for Old School Gaming.pdf
  21. Change environment as a side effect. Oh and do persistent on it.
  22. I've never noticed but I first logged in on my son's 10th birthday...

  23. You're all picking on her, that's delta Burke standing next to her and she had her weight issues too. And yes, it does take some guys and style to pull off a male wonder woman. It's a shame they're standing so far apart though and in that grouping, be interesting to see what the ones in the back fully look like.
