  1. Re: Fantasy Travel Question Well, I could make a joke about the bus lines around Bill Gates's house...
  2. Re: Tu Whiu; A Whip martial art. Two quick notes: 1) Sorry to nitpick, but this one irks me---the part of the human body is the waist, not the waste. 2) Shouldn't this take limited range? As it is, it has a range of 100 hexes, which is all wrong. BTW, very, very interesting idea.
  3. Re: Answers & Questions Q: What did the author of the "Me" trilogy say when they refused to make a "Books on Tape" of the third book in that trilogy? A: I call it "Books on Ape"!
  4. Re: Character: Captain Jiranee Jenvirava Are you thinking of Buxom Girl from Supermegatopia?
  5. Re: Top 10 Action Hero One-Liners
  6. Re: K Univarse, Earth Powers Era technologies Hey, rubber science is all well and good, but violating both the Conservation of Mass/Energy, and the Laws of Thermodynamics, is way too far (IMO). You've got a perpetual motion machine that makes matter out of nowhere; frankly, to me that's appallingly bad. IMO, YMMV, LS/MFT, void where prohibited by law, etc.
  7. Re: Answers & Questions Q: We need to starve while being shot. Where should we go? A: Chillier than the spheroids of a metallic simian.
  8. Re: Answers & Questions Q: The monkey hit the market; what was the result? A: Not your typical monkey-shines.
  9. Re: Answers & Questions Q: How did you miss all those Webers and Teslas? A: Electricity!
  10. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Name two things Foxbat isn't. A: Here, either.
  11. Re: Answers & Questions Q: What's your least favorite Zen koan? A: Or a giraffe, if you're desparate.
  12. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Defender, why did you just buy a gallon of gin? A: 750 milliliters.
  13. Re: Best ever reason NOT to be a sidekick(hero support) Being repeatedly mistaken for a henchman. "I'm a sidekick, blast it! NOT a mere henchman!"
  14. Re: from little plot seeds, mighty games do grow: Share you ideas! A powerful magician---a self-so-called "technomage"---with a bit of an ecological POV, has decided it's time for the "paperless office"---in fact, for a paperless world. His plan was a spell that would turn all paper into pulp. What he got was a spell that turns paper back into trees. And the more paper in one spot, the bigger the tree. One thing about the spell; it has a very, very large AOE, but its effects "grow" outward from the casting spot, fairly slowly. What do the heroes do when every office in the city turns into a copse, and the main branch of the library becomes a jungle/forest?
  15. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Why do you keep yelling "Do me 'til I'm chapped"? A: You're happier not knowing.
  16. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat AAAAAHHH!!!!OH GODS! WHY AREN'T YOU IN YOUR GRAVE!! Then I run like hell. NT: People you hope will never come back from the dead.
  17. Re: Your occupation, please. Yes, Paladin Press is still around. You can check out their website at http://www.paladin-press.com I like this idea: could make for a very interesting skill set.
  18. Re: Best ever reason NOT to be a sidekick(hero support) Being kicked in the side. Repeatedly.
  19. Re: Rejected Superhero Names Been near there, done something like that: http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32186
  20. Re: Best ever Reason to NOT be a superVillian!! The best of the upside: Superheroes get hot chicks that are obsessed with them. Supervillains get icy b*****s that are obsessed with torture and blood. The worst of the downside: Superheroes have to listen to supervillains monologuing about how great they are and how their plans are unstoppable. Supervillains have to listen to prissy old farts (and the occasional superhero) lecture them about morality, the law, and all that. So, Superheroes get it better than, and take it not quite so bad as, supervillains. EDIT: I see Weldun mentioned the "babe angle" already.
  21. Re: best ever reason to be a Sidekick(hero support) You get good training and good perks, without being in quite so much danger, because the "main man" is protecting you.
