  1. Re: A D&D paladin in my Marvel Avengers campaign. Don't forget the mind-link so that you can call it. Either that or give the horse the transdimensional advantage on it's hearing, so that it can hear you call.
  2. Re: Aldaric Gaming Presents: Easthaven Very interesting site. Lots of stuf to read, and, um, borrow, yeah, borrow, for my own campaign.
  3. Re: TravellerHERO PDF in the works All of this stuff is just an incredible resource. Thanks to all of you for putting it together. I love the Traveller universe, and now it's easier to use with my favorite system.

    Firefly

Re: Firefly One of my friends at work has a copy of the Serenity game. He says that it gives a pretty good background of the setting, all the way from original colonization up to the 'present'. Has anyone else seen it? This seems like it would be a great resource for conversion to Hero.
  5. Re: Astrogator's Handbook I've been looking for data like this for a long time. Thanks for providing the link.
  6. Re: Comics are getting too steamy... At least that was part of a story line, not just thrown in so they could poke fun at the fat kid... What am I saying, yes it was...
  7. Re: Atmosphere You would lose way too much energy in breaking down the water to Hydrogen and Oxygen for it to be worthwhile to burn the Hydrogen as a fuel. It would only work if you used the Hydrogen for Fusion power.
  8. Re: USAF studies teleportation Apparently, he was just doing a survey of the ongoing research. I would love to be given $25,000 to read other peoples research papers.
  9. Re: If Superman represents a god, then winged heroes represent angels? and Superman, the funky blue electric Superman, not the normal one, laid the smackdown on an angelic general.
  10. Re: Comics are getting too steamy... These are all very good points. Sex, like anything else, should be used to advance the story or characterization as appropriate. It shouldn't be used for shock value any more than random character death or massive OOC actions should be.
  11. Re: Moderately Large Creatures and DCV I generally ignore the campaign maximums for 'critters'. I would give it enough armor to survive a few hits as well as tweaking the 'called shot' penalty for hitting it in the eye.
  12. Re: I need a name for a Robin Hood-like fantasy character The Scarlet Pimpernel?
  13. Re: This Age and that Age Your google-fu is great, my son.
  14. Re: Help with a power Slot one could also be defined as Damage Reduction. It's not really +DCV, it just spreads out the energy of the attack so it doesn't all hit him. The 'bigger but weaker' aspect seems like it could be modeled by either a Multipower with a lot of Ultra slots each working it's way up the AE ladder, resulting in a lower PD/ED for the field but a larger area, or a VPP defined as only FF and the only advantages that can be added are various area of effect levels.

    Nanotech!

Re: Nanotech! Also, a whole lot of people would have never been born, because their ancestors would have died of starvation, or disease that could have been treated if technology had advanced. Nothing is one sided.
  17. Re: Question for you Traveller fans. I've only got the originals, and I have to say that the GURPS aliens books go into vastly greater detail. If you can find any of the Megatraveller aliens books that were published, those are great resources too.
  18. Re: Anybody want an android? But then the warranty will have expired.....
  19. Re: Who's door do you knock on to borrow a time machine? I'm with Supreme Serpent, on 'modern' earth, Doom is the only character with known, reproducable, available tech. There may have been some one-offs that showed up in secondary stories, but I think Doom's the man with the assembly line.
  20. Re: Comics are getting too steamy... It would explain his 'crankiness problem'. My wife thinks that batman needs more fiber too.

    Hello

Re: Hello What about the ones that he doesn't ask?
  22. Re: How Do the Friction Manipulation Entangles Work? Technically it's probably not even a 'through'. Just a 'to'. Maybe an 'into'.
