  1. Re: Re: Champions Comics I second this emotion.
  2. 5th Edition Terror Inc. Profesor Murute (leader): If I remember corectly, his powers were based on magitisem generated by his power armor (mostly force fields). The new version would be stuck in his armor (since Fuirmancer wielded most of it), and because of the wields, he can't 'move right' without using magitisem on himself. But he has modified his armor to comensate. He acualy staged his 'death' as an atempt at pasive suicide when he thought Doctor Destroyer was dead. Now that the bad doctor is back, he has mix emotions about that. Oh, and being locked up in his own power armor has made him more that a littel bit crazy. His empathy twords others is now at the all time low. Giganto: "The Fist Of Murute" has, indeed, become larger. And can absorb physical attacks into more size (growth). He is, basicly, Murute's "W.M.D", as he sets him loose in a city, and watch superheros punch him into a larger size. Pantera: A woman who's body was expermented on. She now has a personality of a wild cat, and likes to hunt and kill others. Only Murute can control her, and only bairly. My guess is, we are going to need a few original supers to fill in the holes of the team. Thay should all be of South American orgin, just to fit in with the bad profesor.
  3. New "Jack" City. Let me think... ...other names for "scaircrow"...which might also include "Jack". Skeliton Jack. Strawjack...also Straw Jack or Jack Straw. Pumpkin Jack or Jack Pumpkin/Jack Pumpkinhead/Pumpkinhead Jack. Wicker Man (an achent Samhime ritual effengy, usaly filled to the brim with the insain, then lit on fire). Fire Jack (if you want the flaming scaircrow effect), or Jack Fire/Jack Firestraw. Farmer Jack (equipt him with a pitchfork or harvsting syth, and let him reap some crinimals).

I have to say that Foxie's cape is a bit longish. But beyond that, it looks good.
  5. About aisan vampiers...I am reminded of some sort of Korien undead critter who's touch can cause miscarages in pregnet women. I forgot the name of this one, thoe. Is it Dab Tsung? Anyways, it would proably be a transformation attack (Pergnet Person to Pregnet Person Which Miscared. I would describ it as a Major Transformation, since, in my understanding, the taking of life, even one still in development, is equal to a Killing Attack).
  6. Quite true. Now, will you be a dear and write it? I expect a huge crinimal consperity, lead by some tougth martial arts guy who wants to (wait for it) Rule The World! Can your heros stop him, while also compeating in his semi-legal World Fighters Orginzation touriment, avoid deadly ninjas, cyborg martial artest, odd oriental magic users who can suck chi out of your body through a straw, and old, forgoten temples filled to the brim with oni?
  7. My official apologies to Ubwar. I diden't mean to insult you. As for what is the "official" take on oriental vampiers, I beleve that, like there ocidental cousands, there is no real "true" vampier. There ARE lots of difrent stories in which thay all have simuler abilities, thoe. The most simuler is the drinking of blood, but even that is questioned. It is more likely that a Vampier can be defined as "Any undead / evil spirit creacher which 'eats' the life force / blood / chi / breath of the living". My question is: Mike, are you going to follow the Hero System Beastery path, and print only non-intelegent and semi-intelegent beast? That can be problmatic, for even in legions, even the most lowly monster can comunicate with humans. Hear is a short list of sourses for you to try. 1) Orental Adventers (TSR, for Dungions And Dragons 3rd Edition): Great beastery in the back of the book. 2) Monsters Of Rokugen (Again, for DND 3erd): Another beastery, this time focusing more on the world of Legions Of The Five Rings. 3) Legions Of The Five Rings: Prehaps the most compleat RPG about fanticy Japan ever. 4) Sandman: The Dream Hunters (DC): A reteling of the clasic story The Monk, The Fox, And The Mikido Of All Night's Dreaming. Excelent artwork by the ilistrator of Vampier Hunter D novals. 5) Yu Yu Hisneko (Shoen Jump, and Cartoon Network's Tusnami block): Again, a difrent take on Japanies Myth, in the moderen day. 6) 3X3 Eyes (Dark Horse): This time, it is hindu myth. 7) Blue Seed (AD Visions): A look at the legion of the Yamato No Orichi, and it's relationship with monsters all over Japan. 8) Oger Slayer (Viz): Oni take the spotlight in this one. 9) The Mermaid Saga (Viz): The oriental mermaids (Nihgo?) are featured in this one. 10) Princess Monomoko (Beur Vista): Prehaps the best look at Monomoko ("spirit of things", a type of Kami) which we westerners will EVER see. Of course, this list is nowhere complete. And, chances are, Susano has seen most (if not all) of the items on the list before. Anyone else want to add something to it?
  8. Nice to see our anime god Susano on the job. Good boy. Hears a Pockey .
  9. This reminds me of one of the villians I am developing. His name is Mister Wicked, and, yes, he looks like the sterotypical bad melodrama villian. Acts like one also (to a point). Big question is, what can I do with him besides kidnap female DNPCs, burning down orphenages, and forclosing morgeges?
  10. Eveyone can use Martial Arts. Heck, eveyone HAS used Martial Arts in a campain. This does include a caveman campain ("Klubba-Fu").
  11. I always thought Dennes Mahonie's pet supervillian The Unstopable Creep was a Jugernaught clone. Of course, I never seen a writup of him. What I can proably think up was that he was basicly a guy with normal base stats with lots of defensive powers. A 50 PD, 50 ED Armor, -25 Knockback Resistance, 50 Mental Defences, -25 Lack Of Weakness, ect. Of course, all double Hardened (+1). Mabie even some Damage Reduction also. So, how could he be stoped? Well, he can't be harmed, but he STILL only has a Speed of 2 and a Strength of 10. And no offensive powers at all. So, if the heros ignore him...
  12. Uebwar asked, if it dosen't hop, then what's the point. Well, some oriental vampiers don't hop. Some float around in the air, and can never touch the ground at all. And I remember other monsters. Will we see the Yamato No Oricih, the infamous 8 headed giant snake which your screen name namesake killed in legends? How about lesser Orichi? There is also a japanies monster/demon of war called Ashura, which also never touches the ground (if what I read is true). Oh, and Susano, while you proably don't NEED my permition to do so, I give you the permition to mention, as an option to the Tengu, the Tengu Ryu Kenjustu. Or, at least, mention it.
  13. There are a few beast of intrest to me. 1) The Baku, also known as Dream Eaters. I asume that thay "eat" dreams via Transformation (prehaps a major one, since thay only "eat" one night of dreams, not take your dreams away forever). 2) Anything on Youma? Great sourse for them is the anime called Youma (better know to us in the US as Cures Of The Undead Youma, and another title). By the way, a flesh eating horse shows up in Youma. Oh, and who can forget the first seasion of Sailor Moon. 3) There was this lion headed eagle with a snake tail in the book Sandman: The Dream Hunters, but I can not remember the name of the beast. Anyone know? 4) And, finaly, there should be the Draconous Oriental, better known as the oriental Dragon.

Now the real fun begins. Make Foxbat and Doctor Destroyer (in his jazzy new armor). Of course, you could always "wimp out" and make Menton (heck, all you need is an typical guy fig, and paint him so that he is wearing normal clothing...)
  15. Hear is proably one most people don't think about when we say Social Limatation. Homosexual (Infrenquently, Major) 10 points. The above is for thoes who acualy want to keep there sexual idenities secret. The above can also repersent (with a littel renaming) thoes who are closeted pedophiles or closeted necrophiles. As for the atraction to kids or corpses, that is a psycological limatation. I do not recomend a psychological limatation for Homosexual, since there are lots of funcunal homosexuals out there who do not have sex with eveyone of the same gender thay meet.
  16. Diden't TSR, for a short time when thay had a comic book line which thay published, have a pulp-ish like advenger of the night named Agent 13, with a ring which would brand a "13" on his targets when he is done with them?
  17. Yes, it *IS* making them say what thay do not know. Yugi/Yami Yugi knows Malrick (I think this is the right spelling, then again...) is speaking instead of the victom, but he still hears the victom's voice (We, through the magic of television, sometimes hears the victom's voice, and sometimes Malrick's, and sometimes the combo of both of them, depending on how the author wants to play this out). And, of course, this is ONLY because Malrick acualy tells Yugi when he is speaking through an 'agent/victom', and when he is not. One thought...if the Quiet One is mute, how could Malrick speak through him? (Then again, I have no fact that the Quiet One was mute...only that he is some sort of goth mime).
  18. I agree that, if the "victom" is willing, and the person doing it has Telepathy or/and Mind Control, then a Mind Link would only be needed (as what he did with "The Quiet One", a goth mime under his control, who was oddly talkitive when under his control). Bandet Kieth was defently a unwilling subject. Arcana was also sorta unwilling when he was taken over also (since he was bussy trying to find the key to unlock his legs before the buzzsaw would of cut them off at the time...). I would guess Control +60 points (which makes the power of the MR verry thugly, except it has a limitation that the powers can not be used aganst anyone who also has a Milimuiem Item, which is why Malick dosen't just control Yugi's mind, or his sister Istara's). Plus he defently has Mind Scan, Clarvoiance (to see through his mind slaves senses), Telepathy (only to Talk and Receve), and Mential Illusions (as when he hid Arcana's key from him).
  19. I was wondering, how many levels of Mind Control do I need to make a victom speak exactly what I want him to speak? I'm trying to simulate the Malick trick he does with the Milimumen Rod in Yu-Gi-Oh. The thing is, of course, only Yugi knows that the victom's words are acualy Malicks (well, except for the person Mind Controled by Malick, but most of his 'victoms' are loyal brain-washed servents, except for Bandet Keith, and he had to be brought back from the dead, acording to the manga...but I disgress).
  20. In case your wondering (and this is going to be slightly off target), I always wanted to see a Champions side scroling video game fight fest (think FInal Fight, from Capcom, but with superheros). And that is the reason I put up that crack about a Champions Game Boy Advance game (Cause I realy don't think you CAN program a pure RPG into the Game Boy Advance. Especaly with all the bells and whistels the Hero System requiers.).
  21. He dosen't count cause he is a hero (shure, he fought Flair, but that is filed under "misunderstanding").
  22. To do the Dio Brando "JoJo's Bizzar Adventure" thing, buy Extra-Dimentinal Movement to "Stop Time" (a dimention which is just like the one you just left, except that no time passes, and eveyone and eveything is 'stuck' in place). To be able to manipulate the 'real' dimention when your in "Stop Time", just buy Transdimentinal on your powers. Special Note on Stop Time: While your in Stop Time, time only flows for you, so yes, you DO age when your there. And "Stop Time" is not as unihabited as it seems. There are odd looking monsters who float into the air and are constently 'eating' time. I call them "Time Sharks" (Steven King called them Langalears). Just treat "Stop Time" as another dimention, and you will be fine. Oh, and when you return to our dimention, you arive at the same moment you left, and this MIGHT just create a "paradox effect" (especaly if you can see yourself entering the "Stop Time"). Just my $.02 worth.
  23. Wow...good writup. Of course, with the new direction, he could be reintroduced via Digital Hero into the new CHampions Universe. Of course, since I came into Champions via the BBB, I realy never owned Enimies 3, let alone seen a copy. So, could you be a dear and give me the 411 on his past between the original transformation, and his rebirth as Stone? And is Spectra another supervillian? Intresting...married supervillians always fasinate me.
  24. I beleve "Pyramid in the Sky" was, basicly, trying to tie in three unrelated adventurs so that thay could have an excuse to publish one book. And some of the pages are duplicates. Nice try, but next time, try about three or four seprate adventurs in one book if your going to bundle them.
  25. Defently, there are a few legiodary villians I have herd about, but have never spoted a writup on. Holocost was one of them. With this, my hopes have been tingled. Will we ever see: 1) The Lavender Fog: Homosexual master villian/mutant who is able to transform himself into a cloud of lavender mist. Can also generate a lavender mist (Darkness). Basicly an openly gay, flamboyant type. Quote: "Tie him to the Pleaser Bar, Brutus." 2) Blond Bombshell: A martial artist girl who can explode. Forcently, later writups are said to include Desolification linked to the explosion (or is that personal imunity?). Proably will never see one, because of who created her (hint: Heroic Publishing). Are there any legondary villians you have herd of, but never sceen a write up on.
