Lady Heart: Upset only that hir options to view anime has shrinked.
John "Sunburn" Roberts: Ponders if this would affect his job as color comitator for SNN ("the Super News Network, with former superhero John "Sunburn" Roberts on color comatory and former supervillain Doctor Benton D'Ark on the other side.")

I would ask the GM for suggestions since you stated they are quite knowledgeable of the setting. They might have someone in mind they are excited to have in or around the campaign.
What Khymeria said should be noted as the first choice. Who else knows about their world then the one who created it? If the GM has no suggestions, then it is up to you to fill in who and what should be in the world.

Depends. Did the Guardians exist in your GM's world? If so, the most idea members of the family should be Icestar and Icicle, othoe this might mean you also have Freon in the family tree.

Sounds like The Punisher put through the crazy The Tick mold. I like it.

Exactly how would you build Rohan Kishibe's "Heaven's Door" powers? My guess is reading a person would be a "read only" Telepathy, and writing in a person's 'book' could be a Mind Control effect. Also, for skill creation that would be Transform (as he did for Koichi to have him speak Italian). Or would it? What do you think?

(There are many of these door in the unnamed fantasy world Restaurant happens on...othoe it is all the same door. But yes, I guess superheroes encounter lots of extradimensinal doors. So "Another One?" indeed.)

I actually used something like this to kick off my longest-running campaign.
I just remembered, the Floating Vagabond was much like the "Restaurant From Another World".

Sounds like the sort of thing that would attract four teenagers and a Great Dane in a beat-up panel van...
Probably. And the various variations of the mentioned kids and something. (Kids and a sentient dune buggy, kids and a pet shark, kids who are cat themed rock singers, etc.)

There are a few anime which play with the "evil overlord" troupe. One has the Hero, once he overthrew the Demon Lord get rejected by the human society and defects to the Demon Lord's side. Another has the Demon Lord actually a nice woman who is intrested in agriculture. In "Beast Tamer", the Hero is worse than the Demon Lord and actually want to kill the Beast Tamer.
There are also anime like "Overlord" where the main character IS the "Demon Lord".

If I might suggest for research on one possible way to present Queen Nocturna, you may want to catch an old Star Trek voyager episode called "Bride of Chaotica" where Mulgrew as Janeway must play "Arachnia, Queen of the Spider People" in a holo deck adventure. The actress is clearly having a ball being over the top side by side with the guest star. I am not a big voyager fan, and it's more pulp parody than magical girl adventure but it seems to me that 'everyone having strong feelings!' is often a commonality and Arachnia ala Janeway might be worth stealing bits and pieces from for your villainess to torment your player with
It's no secret that ST:TNG and beyond many of the writers are fans of anime. Reminds me of a Romalin (?) code which starts with "Kei no yuri... " (the two leads of the Dirty Pair). It wouldn't surprise me if they dipped into the magical girl gendra slightly for the Voyager episode (just for the over the top way head villains act).
Also reminds me of a Star Trek fan thing which fan characters like Data's android daughter were made into Sailor Senshi...

So you see, that is one way to limit a power source, which brings us right back on topic.
Well, having it removed by a cosmic being of eminence power does solve mistakes the game master has made in allowing certain power sets in...
Players might cry about that, but hey, YOUR CHARACTER was the one who attracted the being's attention.

It looks ok. The combat arts should be named to reflect the culture which created them. Most fantasy games tend to be european focused, even with the Monk class (as being a monk doesn't necessarily mean your aisan). While Splendid Fist is an ok name, Glorious Lotus is more aisan sounding. Prehaps Glorious Flower might be more of a good name.
Unless they are actually from the equivalent of Asia in your campaign, then feel free to kick me into a well.

I'm playing a paladin. You know that scene in Holy Grail where Lancelot storms the swamp castle?
Yes. But your paladin is going to get his arsh kicked. If not by the various customers, by one member of the wait staff...a Black Dragon Goddess Of Death who you don't want on your bad side.

I'm kinda surprised that autocorrect didn't catch it. Then again, I'm the Misspellian Master, so it probably gave up years ago.

The Wasteland. A floating place in Faerie which rairly attaches itself to other places in Faerie, it was once a site of a long forgotten magical battle. Most of the inhabitants now are rusty and broken golems who were used in the battle then abandoned by their creators. They recognize that the place is unfit for organic life (both living and undead). The economy of the few towns are all about salvaging parts from the "disactivated" golems and mining and forging new parts.

"Cat on it"?
Image or real animal?
Ah, looking up "Restaurant From Another World", It's the former.
Surprise, it's technically a "Reverse Isakai". Earth is the "other world", but all travelers see is the restaurant, which has stuff in it which doesn't exist in there world, but not enough of it to totally overwhelm visitors.
It's also a cool "food porn" series. And no, nothing about having your way with chocolate cake, unless "your way" is eating it...

While patrolling the city, your superhero finds a strange floating wooded door with a wooden cat sign on it. It can't be moved, radiates magic, and smells of food can be smelled from the door. It's Saturday, and while there is a lock on the door, the door doesn't seem to be locked.
What will your character do?
(Inspired by "Restaurant From Another World".)

While traveling your party finds a door with a cat on it. The door is made of wood, is unattached to any wall, can't be lifted, radiates strange Teleportation magic, and doesn't seem to be locked. It is also the equivalent of Saterday, and you can smell food coming from the door itself.
What will your character do?
(Taken from the light novel and anime "Restaurant From Another World", but it really doesn't matter exactly what the door is.)

You wonder, how did Talia go from being the nice daughter of a <strikeout>madman</strikeout> concerned global citizen into a psycho demi-yanderi who has to drug up vigilante millionaires for their man juice?
