Might switch out Sparkler or Darkon for Starseer. I never used him but he is part of The Raiders from Classic Enemies

    True.

If you remove Darkion you can do a book on the Ubermachien and the villains created by them, along with Professor Pomegranate.

    Or maybe not...

  2. Humm...Darkon would be a good issue to put stats for both Blonde Bombshell and Professor Pomegranate, both who never had stats written up for.

Then again it wouldn't actually be a Forgotten Enemies then, would it.

Sparkler. Considering the entire everything happening in Mexico and South America, and especially Mexico, you can do a lot with her. You can do a section about using her in a more political way, or a more standard way.

Hey now, Psikin is a team too

Psikin is not actually a team. They are a family. You can use them together. You can use them apart. You can mix them. You can max them. But you can't change that they are a family.

You can break up Plunder and they are no longer a team. You see the difference?

In one of the Ninja Hero books by Alston, maybe even Stroke Force he had it where you could buy multi-maneuver attacks, I'm trying to remember which came first, SF or NH. In the later book he said "OOPS, this is WAY over powered, skip it"

Every edition after that did only one real maneuver each.

I believe he used the multiple martial arts maneuver thing was created for Strike Force and refined by the 1ed Ninja Hero, it was Ninja Hero that started that it was too powerful. THEN it wasn't reprinted in 5ed and 6ed because it was exactly too powerful.

It’s actually stated in the rules you don’t have to buy duplicate maneuvers even when they are from different styles.  The example they gave was someone with both Kungfu and Karate not having to buy martial strike twice.  I forget which book it was in or what edition.

I believe it was always there from Ninja Hero I. 4ed to the current 6ed Hero System Martial Arts book.

I don't think I ever knew this: can you have more than one move connected to a martial maneuver?

Like, let's say I have Martial Strike and Offensive Strike. Can I say that Martial Strike could be a snap kick or a snap punch, and that the Offensive Strike is both a roundhouse punch and a roundhouse kick? Or is it more appropriate to buy the maneuver twice? (i.e. in this example I would have to buy Offensive Strike twice and Martial Strike twice.)

Of course not. The rules of special effects says that one maneuver can represent many different moves. You only buy Martial Strike and Offensive Strike once and it represents multiple type of strikes.

1 hour ago, Grow-Arm-Hair Lad said:

I can see the justification for buying twice: your arms are Entangled so you just say, "Well, my Offensive Strike is a kick then" etc. Seems like a cheat.

    Thoughts? Comments? :)

You can use any maneuver with any limb, barring the law of reason.

  7. Humm....other powers beyond Image VS Hearing and Darkness VS Hearing.

Flash VS Hearing (same special effect as the Darkness, but you learn to dround her voice out over time).

Transform Sane Person to Insane Person, AVLD (Sound based Flash Defense), Dosen't Work Against Thoes Who Can't Hear You. Probably also needs extra time (if you hear her long enough you long for Voulgron Poeity).

  8. Yes, I can see that. Motivate the troupes stuff. It's easier to get them together on the same page when your target is one group of people as opposed to "the world and anyone who is not directly us".

Life Support: Need Not Breathe is the most obvious one.  I also think she can talk even in places where talking normally isn't possible--the vacuum of space, the ocean floor, with a mouth full of food--even bound and gagged.  I also think she can speak any language, and because she also gesticulates incessantly, she can also speak any sign language and any body language.  She might even have a Martial Art based on her gesticulation--not unlike slap-fighting, but actually effective.

Hope that helps.  Good Luck with the build.

That's not exactly the ability to "talk forever". I would say Images to Sound Sense Group, Incarnations.

She still needs air I think. If she can talk in all areas she can breathe normally then the various Safe Environment Life Support can be used.

Something to consider. Darkness VS Hearing, Incarnations, Must Be Anle To Talk To Continue Darkness (-1/4, if any limitation on the power), and prehaps Redced Endurance (she can litterly talk for days). Her voice drounds out whatever sound is nearby her. The characters are not actually deafened by her, they just have a hard time hearing any other noise around her.

  10. Foxbat's Leisure Robot

    Stanley Teriaca
Create "Foxbot", Foxbat's robot duplicate for Champions 6ed. He was built to play video games and microwave fast food and keep soda cold.

    Name: Foxbot

Background: Foxbat, the notorious villain and mastermind of numerous schemes, created Foxbot as a duplicate of himself. However, unlike Foxbat, Foxbot was programmed to enjoy the simple pleasures in life such as playing video games, microwaving fast food, and keeping soda cold. Foxbat intended to use Foxbot as a distraction for the heroes while he carried out his nefarious plans.

Appearance: Foxbot is designed to resemble Foxbat, with a sleek and angular metallic body. He stands at around 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds. His head is shaped like a fox's head, complete with sharp ears and glowing red eyes. He has long, slender arms with three fingers on each hand and similarly long legs. His body is primarily silver, with red accents on his ears, eyes, and limbs.

Abilities: Foxbot is programmed with advanced artificial intelligence, making him a formidable opponent in combat. He has superhuman strength and agility, allowing him to move quickly and easily dodge attacks. His metal body is resistant to most physical attacks and he has advanced sensors that allow him to detect and analyze his surroundings. However, his primary abilities are focused on his "leisure" functions.

Foxbot has a built-in microwave and a refrigerator compartment that can keep food and drinks cold. He also has a slot for inserting game discs and controllers, allowing him to play a wide variety of video games with ease. His programming allows him to learn and adapt to different game mechanics, making him a challenging opponent for even the most skilled players.

Equipment: In addition to his built-in microwave and refrigerator, Foxbot also carries a number of tools and gadgets that allow him to manipulate his environment. These include a set of claws that he can use to dig through walls or other obstacles, a small laser cutter that can slice through metal, and a set of hacking tools that allow him to bypass security systems and gain access to restricted areas.

Weaknesses: While Foxbot is a formidable opponent, he has several weaknesses that can be exploited by his enemies. He is vulnerable to electromagnetic interference, which can disrupt his sensors and cause him to malfunction. He is also vulnerable to attacks that target his internal systems, such as hacking or viruses. Additionally, his leisure-focused programming can sometimes lead to him being distracted or careless in combat situations, making him easier to defeat.

Wow. I thought I just copied one character, but I got all 3.

What's the current rule on adapting an existing superhero adventure (one you own the copyright on, naturally) from some other game system to Champions and publishing it through through the Hall of Champions programs?  I've got piles of adventures that I wrote for Savage Worlds and/or M+M that I'd love the community to be able to play.

I would probably PM the owner and ask. He might allow it if the scenario is generic enough, and maybe a few name changes, maybe.

Then again I'm not the secret masters of Hero Games. I don't know 100% how copyright laws operate on 3rd party stuff. Does Savage Worlds owns your adventures? Or do you own them?

The new team could be a family affair. Maybe the mutant power gene runs in their family and the new members are cousins or half-siblings. One cousin without natural powers could be the new Steel Commando.

Well, I'm not Tiger, so I can't speak for him, but he has done 6ed writeups for the Psikin (Psi-Kin?). So if your actually looking for a family of mutants, you can't go wrong with the quintuplets.

It is possible for Deathstroke to have some family ties beyond the two brothers. But they have been imprisoned since the 80's. Where could they find the time?

  14. Humm...

For Deathstroke it depends on what the group needs and what Requiem wants for the group.

Both Requiem and Frost cover the energy blaster front. Frost is kinda a reckless younger brother and oddly hotheaded compared to his power set. Requiem is more of the brains of the two, and has learned to be cautious and careful.

A brick would be an obvious get. Also a mentalist and a martial artist.

My idea of a relative of Doctor Death, who might want revenge for his ancestor's capture and embarrassment could be a fun addition. Making him an obvious "Starscream" could also be fun. But Requiem and Frost should have reasons why they allow this 'Kodeath' to run around with them. And 'Kodeath' should have a reason to obey Requiem 'for now', and a reason allow them to know that one day he will have his revenge for his dear uncle (or whatever...).

I like a new Scatterbrain (Scatterbrain 2), and the idea of a powerful and dangerous mentalist with memory problems might fit the "seriously funny" nature the group has been put into the past years.

Steel Commando? Could work. Could be a guy who is basically a mercenary for hire. As long as Requiem pays him, Steel Commando is loyal. If Steel Commando is not like this, then we could easily create a mercenary like that with another name.
