  1. Have you taken an 8AM class lately?
  2. But does that actually eliminate them, or do they just come back next semester?
  3. Okay, time out. Ripley is not a trained soldier. She's a warrant officer on a civilian mining crew. At no point in her career does she receive more than ten minutes of military training. Conversely Sarah Connor, when her waitressing career ends, spends a decade as a soldier of fortune in Central America. Rant over, game on: Toretto wins because he is subject only to the laws of comic book physics. Max's only superpower is an unusual ability to absorb damage. Next up: Starship three-way! Milano (GotG) vs. Serenity (Firefly) vs. Millennium Falcon (obscure SF reference)
  4. I wonder why she'd have taken the role then. It's not like she needed the money.
  5. United Airlines stored live bunny in freezer for the rest of its life, then destroyed the evidence
  6. Stretch Armstrong, because he is both stretchy and strong. Also his fashion sense is on point. Battle of the Beverages: Tea or coffee?
  7. Do you guys grade on a curve? Or is it single elimination?
  8. While I support Kaepernick's right to protest, I have mentioned earlier in this thread that choosing a mode of protest that is guaranteed to alienate 43% of the population as well as one's employer is... stupid. At best all he did was polarize the debate and commit career seppuku.
  9. 5e writeups from newmuse.com: Thor Iron Man Hulk Cap Surbrook's 6e writeups: Iron Man Cap Hulk Black Widow Luke Cage tl;dr Builds differ radically but Avenger points look to be ~400-600 in 5e and ~700-800 in 6e. I find Surbrook's builds to be a bit OP but then again he is far better at this sort of thing than I. In particular this version of Luke Cage looks like Avengers Luke Cage rather than Defenders Luke Cage.
  10. Not even insurance companies want(ed) Obamacare repealed The effect of legislative uncertainty on the insurance business which is based entirely on gauging risk
  11. Bank: The credit card terminals we gave you have software bugs that will cause them to stop working next week. Us: It's... the week before Mother's Day. We are a jewelry company. Bank: Sorry, our bad. We'll send out some replacements as soon as we can. Us: The replacements you sent out six months ago we all misconfigured and we had to walk sales staff through reconfiguring all of them over the phone. Bank: Don't worry, we're sure we'll get it right this time. Us: We have a bad feeling about this.
  12. You have to ask if bewbz are good things?
  13. It's a $1M contract with another $2.75M available in incentives, so I'd guess he's just fine with that.
  14. Is there anything that could make us less confused?
  15. Now, now, be nice. They have to fund their tax breaks for the wealthy somehow.
  16. The House has voted to repeal Obamacare for everyone but themselves.
