  1. Re: Super looking for some powers I'll have to save a higher res version of her I think. The texture does look a little toned down now that I'm looking at it on another monitor. I tried that same texture that you have applied and it just didn't feel right, but if you are going for the shapeshifting affect it works.
  2. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Is it my imagination or does the model in the center pic look a lot like: http://www.ginca.com/sw/kari3.jpg At least the pose is very similar.
  3. Re: Super looking for some powers Nope, no graphic glitch... it was intentional. Isn't there a contrast between the clothing and skin and hair that is noticable? I may have to make it more noticable if it isn't.
  4. Re: Super looking for some powers Now that is a very interesting and original idea! I like that! Rep for you!
  5. Re: Super looking for some powers And her stoney skin might backup that thought.
  6. Well, I was messing around with Photoshop and doing a little photomanip, and thought this one came out really well. She isn't a villain or hero, and some of her powers might be obvious from her appearance. What would you give her? If you have HeroDesigner include an hdc file if you would like.
  7. Re: Wednesday, September 1st, 2004 My pleasure! Now if he could just float some rep my way... Whoops was that out loud? Crap, I did it again. *note to self: work on inner monologue.*
  8. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER LOL That was a serious BURN. ah oh, did my age just slip out? But we all love you dearly zorn, how could we not? and some day I'll be as good as you.
  9. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Yes, I'm very happy! Thanks for the well wishes. I have been doing a lot of reading today, and noticed that my eyes haven't been getting nearly as fatigued as they used to, and my distance vision is even clearer than it was after the first surgery. It really make a difference when both eyes are equal.
  10. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER You may want to take a look at my RTF templates than. I have a series of 4 that export exactly like the printed books in two columns on one page. There is also a really nice export template that I converted from Derek Hiemforth's Numbers Lite template that doesn't print all the chunky bits.
  11. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Have you posted it so that we all might admire it also? Is it HTML or RTF? Have you seen the "suite" of RTF templates that I made? I'm always looking for feedback on them.
  12. Re: Wednesday, September 1st, 2004 Ok, here is the latest updated list of your stuff. Check it over and make sure that I am putting everyone in the right groups. I now have this list automated so that it only takes me a second to produce.
  13. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Thanks! I just got back. It turns out I'm already at 20/20. YEA!
  14. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Well, I'm alive and well. The surgery went off without a hitch. I'm off to my post op appointment. My vision should be 20/20 in the next couple days, but i can already tell that the vision in my right eye is a little clearer.
  15. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. I'm seeing a flexi-shield on his left arm, throwing knives, smoke pellets, and what looks like a swingline on his right arm. With that build and stance he's probably a martial artist to boot. You would think I read Enforcer84's writeups or something.
  16. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Well in two hours I'm off to get my right eye re-lasered. When I first had it done back in January it went well, and my vision quickly improved, and I didn't need glasses anymore. My right eye never went to 20/20 though. It's at 20/40 so hopefully this will bring it to 20/20. Overall, the experience was well worth it, and I would recommend it to anyone that gets annoyed with glasses and contacts like I did.
  17. Re: Superhero Images I so want to learn how to color like that... That totally rocks!
  18. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER That caption should read. "SAY 'WHAT' AGAIN! I DARE YOU!" It's another Pulp Fiction reference...
  19. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I have two cats as well as a dog (they all grew up together). Anyway, the male cat Max also knows how to knock on doors, and does it very early in the morning. I believe we may be onto some sort of plot against the humans. As an aside, Max having grown up with Roy - our dog - behaves like a dog sometimes. Including chasing his sister, Suzy, right after Roy finishes chasing her. On the flip side Roy will sometimes act like a cat and groom the cats. Every pet a cat that has been groomed by a dog? You jump up and run to the sink to wash your hand off.
  20. Re: Hero A Day...Sorta... I just recently posted a a document entitled had.txt that lists everything posted so far. It doesn't have page links though which might be what you are asking for?
  21. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER A couple of hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: "Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." Theres a silence... then a shot. The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: "OK, now what?"
  22. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I believe it is right below their head... er... wait...
  23. Re: Supervillain Images For some reason I thought he would be taller. J/K Nice job!
