  1. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I wonder how many people are afraid to post in this thread for fear of getting banned... ?
  2. Re: Storn Art from idea to full picture
  3. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I had thought of using those, but I couldn't find a good base image.
  4. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Do you think I should slow the bouncing down? Are the boobies too big?
  5. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER By your command!! I present bouncing boobies! The image is still too big, but I'll reduce the size if it will be of any use.
  6. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER WHAT?!? My threads in the lead?!? Yesh!!
  7. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER :raises hand:
  8. Re: Superhero Images Unless of course your resolution is high enough to allow the full character to be viewed on the screen. Of course, IE automatically resizes the pictures that are too big to fit the screen also. I do agree about the server space. That is something to consider which is why I recommend PNGs for web images, it maintains the quality and makes for really small file sizes. I will endeavor to make sure I use them for my own pictures since I haven't always done so. I understand your points though, and they are definitely valid. I'll try to keep my sizes down to 700x500 as well.
  9. Re: Superhero Images Personally I like the larger pics because you can see more detail, and if I wanted to say, modify them in Photoshop it is much easier and gives a better output. Just my 2 cents.
  10. Re: Superhero Images "Boom-hilda"?
  11. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER No, but it would definitely have their character write-ups, and a picture created by Storn.
  12. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Has anyone else noticed that replies from this thread are sent more often to your email than others? Ben?!? What are you up to?
  13. Re: Storn Art from idea to full picture Hmm.. I've been trying to think of something worthwhile. How does this sound? Cypress, a female brick with Growth. As she grows taller her skin turns to a denser bark like material that provides additional defense. Kama, a wisened old man that has become a spirit, but can still affect the material world through some sort of electrical effect. (no name yet) Hydro maybe, a super that can take on different forms of water, gas, liquid, solid (No not whatsisname from the wonder twins ) Any of those sound worthy?
  14. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Shoot I did it again. Hey stop that!
  15. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Oh no, I just posted to the thread!
  16. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Hey, where are they at? That background looks really familiar. Is that a hotel in So. Cal?
  17. Re: Superhero Images Yikes! If she gets squeezed any tighter...
  18. Re: Superhero Images Ok, so what do you think?
  19. Re: Superhero Images Hey, you have to give me some time... This is my very first attempt at coloring someone else's work. I have to add in the shading and whatnot still, but here is the preliminary coloring. I hope the colors are ok.
  20. Re: Hero A Day...Sorta... Is that Sentinals or SentinEls? This sounds like it is going to be a fun group. I'm looking forward to checking them out.
  21. Re: Superhero Images The tutorial that Blue posted above is most excellent to get you started, I would start there. I can fill in the "Huh?"s when they come up if you would like. I'll try to set aside a some time to do a full step-by-step if there is enough interest. It would be strictly Photoshop though, and version 7.0 to boot. Yea, there is that city book thingy... Or even a hole lot of trial and air.
  22. Re: Superhero Images You start by grabbing the templates from here: http://users.ev1.net/~kryptcom/templates.html Then you use Photoshop or your graphic editor of choice to add the linework and colors. Are you asking for a step-by-step? EDIT: Yes, that is an excellent tutorial!
  23. Re: Superhero Images So I decided to take a stab at using the Animated Series templates and Photoshop. Here are my first two attempts. The guy is Fracture and the girl is Shooting Star. Her costume is my daughters design. She's only 10. So how did I do? EDIT: That's odd the thumbnails didn't show up...
