On the plus side, giving a corporation government responsibilities/authorities was a bit Florida in the first place.

People often fail to consider just how socially conservative persons of "Group X" are.

Suppose I'm looking to create a team of superhumans designed to neutralize, abduct, and otherwise eliminate meddlesome superheroes...or -villains. Because I do. What powers and powersets would you all recommend?
PSI vs Bricks, Reflection vs Blasters, Entangle (w/AE) vs Martials, is a start.

I disagree. The G.I. Joe comic was probably even worse.
The jingoistic/propagandistic nature of that series led many of the major animation writers at the time who would normally work on a show like that to refuse it point blank. That and the need to write a show about a war where nobody ever died led to some really bizarre results. Famously, an entire episode (possibly the best in the entire series, not that that says much) was built around the hoary old joke that ends "I'm da Viper! I've come to Vipe da Vindows!" And of course, it was never entirely clear what Cobra was and what aims, if any, they had.
I told my son Cobra wanted to Ban NASCAR! Lol

Not really "News" yet, but the w-2 went well, and the standard model is in peril. Needs to be verified though......

Well, I don't know about best ever. I'm 2 episodes in, which makes me current at the moment.
It's... fine. They are playing up the mystery and surreal perspectives so its pretty atmospheric but we still haven't really seen what Moon Knight can do. I'm enjoying the multiple-personality stuff but it feels like that will only sustain the story for so long. On the up side, by about 2/3 the way through episode 2 they are starting to move away from that as the central aspect of the story.
I'm willing to give it more time. I remember liking WandaVision but feeling like the "trapped in TVland" thing wasn't going to hold them for the whole series... right before the episode dropped that veered things in a new direction, so I'm willing to be surprised.
The political thing you may have heard about the show is how it is getting review-bombed online... which is kind of weird. At one point in episode 1, Oscar Isaac's character and Ethen Hawkes' are discussing human atrocities during a motive speech and Oscar Isaac's character mentions the Armenian Genocide which according to Turkey was just a really big deportation and the whole Genocide thing is all a whole lie perpetuated by.. pretty much everyone else.. to smear the good names of their ancestors.
It is like one line of dialogue that lists it as an example of terrible things people do.. but it has been getting Moon Knight a lot of flack online.
Turkish nationalists Really don't like the G-word. The first rule of genocide club is Don't talk about Genocide.

I am mildly going to attend. It just depends on how things go. I have a lot of irons in the fire. But I will likely attend for one day.

Hmmm, Anomaly anchor...Flight, always on, no con control....Power Defense Anchor effects....KB resist...That should do most of that?

One of my favorite chars has this, (Plus more, because points) He can see 1 to 7 seconds into the future. If I was to build him with the new Hero rules...I think Combat luck, +DCV, and some speed would reflect it pretty well. Also Danger sense, and/ or Dam Reduction vs traps/explosions.....and Flash defense that does not stop the first point (Because he sees the flash in the future, and is already blinded, thus immune....
some more weird builds I use for this sort of thing +X running :Only to half move because he always "knows" where to move. My "Old school" version was built as +8" running, a speed of 7 and a passel of defenses....now a days I would be adding "bell, And whistles"!..Lol

Well, the Army in it's vast wisdom has chosen the Sig, with the 6.8 x51. So it seems that they went with "Battle Rifle" as x51 is not an intermediate size. Not supposed to be super heavy though....
