Re: Teen Champions PCs vs Minuteman. to me the hardest part of going aganst a highlevel baddies is that the activepoints of your attacks may not beable to overcome the defences of the baddie. So to me the easiest way to make them defeatable but by not weakining them is reduce their flat defences, but give them some damage reduction. This way the teens can knickle and dime them down.

Re: WWYCD: Registration Well, I personaly believe that if the hero is dedicated to doing the right thing, then he cannot become registered or endorced. That would mean that he cannot do what needs to be done anymore. Laws and policies are made by those in power, and thus they inatly protect them. So if the corruption and evil goes to the top, well, you Can't do anything about it then. A secret ID is NECCARY to a superhero. Doing the right thing, the just thing, is not alwies popular, and not always legal. And besides, a super is a powerfull thing, and those in power will want this power for their own. They WILL manage to make a super their puppet if they can get any hold on him. And if they can't, they will destroy him. "Ultra man, I need you to deal with a problem. This man is causing me quite a bit of trouble. Can you take care of him for me? No? Well, I can understand you have so many family issues going on now: Your sister loosing custody of her childern and your mothers failing health. I can see if you need to be . . . Perhaps by doing this you can wipe the slate clean and allow him to make a new start. And if you can influence it to give what was origionaly the child the controlling shares and a good upbringing he may have a chance. But if in the spirit of WWYCD threads life is a multable choice test, the death would be required, but it must be done is a way to remove all interference, so as to allow the univers to handle the disposition of the souls correctly. Re: Name Help: Eyptian Sorceress villian In old relegions and such, to know someone's name is to have some measure of power over them, to use it is even more so. (If I remember correctly, this is one of the theories why calling the judio-christian god Jahova is a sin or someting like that) So going with this, she may not use a name. Just a title. You could go Duneish and have her flunkies call her 'Reverened Mother' or something like that, or take a clue form Warmachine and call her someting like 'The Harbinger of the Gods'.

Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game New high level zone?? why?? How many charictors will someone have at these high leveles? I would imagine that even a dedidicated long time player will only have a small handfull of charictors at these levels. However howmany charictors will you have in the low and mid levels? Lots, piticularly considering that all charictors begin low level. So to me it would make more sence to make new low level zones, and to revamp the low level dungions. You can only fight thugs in nearly identical office buildings or nearly identical warehouses so many times before it becomes dull. How hard would it be to put some new maps and textures into these? Wait, I need to somehow tell this to the COH people.

Soul Drain+'aid to body and stun'+regeneration = Nadia can effectivly take one body and 8+1d6-1 stun form someone, add them to her own (up to twice her starting levels) and if she uses this to heal herself the regeneration makes it perminant. Bribing the Reaper: Healing with a cost Deaths Grip: Skeletal hands hold the victume in place, it is spirital so ego is used as strenght to break out. Ghost Touch: She is partialy in the Nether world, so she and ghost can touch each other. And notice her 'summons', they are not summons, for summoning undead is expensive. Now a grownup will be able to do it well, but let's face it, how much trouble is a Zombie going to be for a Super? Now if you could summon a Denzin of the Netherworld, perhaps a construct of Skulls and bones and such. . . humm. . . Now Nadia's wishlist include: 1: Wrath form (being able to leave her body behind and float around as a ghost) 2: Borrow the 'Pale horse' Summon a supernatural horse to travle far distances. Just remember to get him back, Girm needs him for work. 3: Pressenc out the yen and yang* for fear based attacks: Enough baddies have been screaming from her Death's Grip attack I feal this in justifyed and neccessary. * but not the Wazoo, she is of noble birth and has more class than that. How about a Disad: 'attracts Goths, larpers, and other wanta bees'. This could be a major pain in her but and a bit of levity in a otherwise dark villiness. I do appriciate it when they make the heroes pay for their vitrory but at the interest rates they payed they could have gone to a 'payday loans' place and been abused less. I know Magnito is overcofident, but my god of evil from the second movie would not mess with a rampaging insane goddess of distruction unless he had some plan. Re: Disads for "Cheese Champions!" how about the psych limitation: Can only use powers when it would be funny. IE: His friends try to rescue him, only to find out he has been excaping, going to the bad guys caffiteria, stealing frute pies, then returning to his cell to eat them.

Re: If You Had To Play a Marvel Character… I do not like playing other peoples charictors, so I would look through the Marvle Who's Who for some hero who is only mentioned or seen in one of those uber fights involving way to many heores. There would be almost nothing about this guy so i could make most of it up. Also, I could have him carry that issue around with him: "Yes, I am a hero, see, I am on page 12, third pannel, the upper left corner. Yes that is me!" Searously, I would go through the who is who and find someone I thought was cool that none of the players knew about so I would not have to deal with their pre conseptions.

A dark hero who riskes his sanity and soul everytime he uses his powers and still uses them to help people is quit heroic. Just as Mr Invunerable is not at risk fighting random goon, Mr Mentalis is not, but just as Mr Invunerable is at risk when fighting Distructor the uber man, Mr Mentalist is at risk fighting Mentok the mind taker. (we don't borrow, we don't ask, we Take!). If a Necromancer or such summons a undead to fight, well, the Baddies are going to know that Geeking the Necromancer is much easer than the Summoned Monster. I think it is more of actions that count.

Nadia: ok, waking up in her dorm room to find her roomate is a boy and the room is in the boy dorm. humm, Nadia will not be amused, and depending how 'Ben' (Brenda - Kid Supernova) handles things, there could be some major trouble if Nadia thinks she has been taken advantage of. In an odd way this could be a relief to her, for she is afraid of intimacy and she has been resisting being attracted to a boy. Now that he is now a she, She would see this temptation removed. She is a Orthadox Christian, this would be rather cut and dry for her.

Re: (Plot Seeds) Bride of Title Tag "The Sky would only hurt you" The flying hero/es suddently finds that whenever he flies the winds buffet him about and he inevedably ends up crassing at crusial moments. This exculates untill the hero is convinced he should never fly agian. (This would have to be established over several adventures) A old Indian confronts the team, warning them that the spirits of the sky are angry that man has forgotten his place and chose to fly. He offers to take the heroes on a 'spirit quest' to conftont the spirits and win them over before the problem spreads to other supers and aircraft. Is the old indian on the up and up? or is this a trap for the heroes? Perhaps he trully thinks what he says, but actualy it is a vilian with a wether machine tampering with the heroes flight? Next Options "Master of the Phanotm Wind "Strangers in a NORMAL land" "Loving you IS wrong"

Re: What I learned playing a blaster! Having a shot that just rings your clock take you out as you fall face first into the street is frustrating. Even a inch of persistant Gliding will work to keep your behind in the air untill you recover from the con stun. Also, make shure you have a tool kit of zaps. If justifyable have an entangle, a pd and an ed attack, an ariea effect, and I dont care how pacafist you are, a Killing attack for those darn Robot Minions.

If Brenda (room mate) is still up and nervous about the power outage, she would break out some candles (and not tell Brenda what they are normaly for). I think Brenda has realised the "don't ask dont tell" policy you should have when you have a Necromancer as a roomate.
