I peronally dislike the D&D systems , but appreciate the various settings and like a good GM ste... playgerize when and where I can . Of the group of players I plan on introducing to HERO , two are framiliar with the previous edition rules and read the Dragon Lance first trilogy years ago . So most will be fresh and new . While the DragonLance novels are not the best in Fantasy by any means it is eminently gameable .

I would hate to be her hair stylist though , but where are the the Spotted Snakes ( sorry obscure in-joke ) . I'd like to see the written outline for the picture . The interaction from client to artist is interesting . I would like to know more about it .

QM's U:DoF review Greeting HEROfiles , I picked up my copy of U:DoF last Friday , but only got around to posting a review today . **** Artwork . Everything , but the UNTIL Helmet was great . I only wish we could have had some comic page style art (ala Storn's Ninja HERO ) . *** Layout . Some of the Text seems a little scattered , but still really well done and logical . **** Writing . STEVES A MACHINE !!! . The stuff on the UN and international law as it applies to superhumans was fantastic and just what I've been waiting for ... WOW !!! . A few more Agent Motivations next time though . And all the Agent Architypes written ( lazy GM syndrome ) **** Over all a great product and well worth the price . My only complaint is V:CotS was Bigger ...

ah hem ... that would be me Someone asked us on our boards recently "what the Hell is up with Reality Storm!?!" - which is a fair question. Asking the improtant questions ( no bouncing icons here move along , nothing to see ) . No WAIT !!! How about a a preview a teaser . Or a HERO favourite ... Character Conversions . Come on give you owe us and our interest at least something more than another VS showdown .

The Martial Arts Manuvers and Weapon Damage discussion is good for me as I'm looking at introducing the "Optional Damage Rules" to my campaigns . Personally I'd settle for reducing the Damage Classes by Half ( minimum one ) . I think I would add something though . A bare handed attack against a Resistant Defense/Target should be treated as a Move By or Move Through . The Iron Fist/Shirt would make a good defense and add dramatic flare . What do you think ???

Do you use a random 3D6 roll or the OCV Penalties ??? dooes it slow the game down for you or have you set up your own "Tables" to keep pace ??? Thanks Folks . Need a little more to make an informed decision though ...

Hello Folks , I'm looking to run an Fantasy Campaign and several of my players have expressed an interest in The DragonLance setting . I'm looking for Conversions or Creations . Ideas on introducing the Gods and the major Weapons and Items in HERO mechanics . They've only read the Novels (a bonus) and some of the source books . The Timeline will be set during the HEROes of the Lance . Looking forward to your input .

If yes , then which ones ? If no , then why ? Derailing my own thread for a moment . Do you use Critical Tables ? If yes , Post them please ... If no , then why ?

Sometimes I love you folks Last night I was play testing the HERO System 5th Edition Rule and trying to work in all the "Optional Effects from Damage Rules" . When I rolled a "3" on an attack , consulted the "Hit Location Table" and applied the appropriate multipliers it just got ugly . a 3d6+1 HKA did 17 Body and x2 Stun . Can you say GINSU ( I new you could ) . Where's the "Poll : Do you Use this" options for Critical Success or Failures ???
