  1. Yes, 2000 feet would make a big difference. I'm taking a geology course right now. Out unit last week was on sedimentary rocks and the associated formations. I'll bet you've got some pretty spectacular views nearby.

  14. Most of the Eastern US is in a deep freeze. Meanwhile, the forecast high temperature here is 54F (12C), which is ridiculous for this region in late February. We need cold weather (and especially SNOW) soon, and lots of it.
