I didn't modify these minis at all (unless you count cleaning flash off them, filing, etc). Now if this were a model painting contest, with only past or present Champions characters allowed for entry... Mags

AFAIK, these are all "official" Champions minis, not modified at all. Foxbat broke at the ankle a while back. I glued him, but I still need to repair the paint job. So I'm lazy, sue me. Mags

I occurs to me that I don't really do a lot of modifications to my miniatures, other than scraping off bits and pieces here and there. Rather than build mine from scratch, I prefer to find the closest mini and then rely of an ok paint job to complete it. The few heroclixs I have, I'm not planning on chopping up. However, I have several Oculons which I painted en mass. I will enter him. Them. Uhm. Yeah. As soon as my camera's battery charges up. Cheers, Mags

Re: Superhero Images Glad you asked. I already had a pic ready for Mindscape and turned it in to Jack (you should have it too, I sent it along with the HDC file). I'm just waiting for it to be posted on the site, but there are priorities right now. Eventually I'll do another one, but the color-pencil pic will have to do. No one from the group has approached me about doing artwork for their PCs. I suppose I could take the initiative, but then I risk wasting time on a pic that might not be wanted, appreciated or even used. Did you have a character in mind for me to work on? Mags

Re: Superhero Images Yeah, you'd have to be careful, too, about the copyright enfringement laws. Big old discussion going on in NGD area regarding that, what with Marvel suing CoH for just that- allowing people to make characters that were too close in design to Marvel characters. From what I hear, Marvel is sue-happy and will slap a lawsuit on anyone they can. Not trying to talk you out of it, it's a fine idea. But you need to protect yourself (and any partners involved) first. Mags
