Just finished listening to Age of War in Michael J Sullivan's Legends of the First Empire series. I read both Riyria Revelations and Chronicles and sincerely enjoyed both. This series is much less lighthearted but equally well written and I have enjoyed the writing and story, but I feel after this one, getting a posse together to track down and flay Mr. Sullivan for the emotional rollercoaster of emotions invoked in this book is completely forgivable. Most of that was semi sarcasm. I would absolutely recommend any of the above series to anyone looking for good reads.

I feel like it is just missing the CNN (or other news outlet)standing there trying not to be blown out to sea so they can be on the frontline reporting the story.

And, of course, the whole reason there is an ROC is because Russian can't have a team for crap just like this. Now they have succeeded in tainting the ROC, because if a 15 year old figure skater is having this done to her, why should we believe any of the others aren't.

Agree with all said above. Loved the Verus series, will miss him. I also read Blake up to Obsidian Butterfly, which to me is the best in the series because it isn't about sex. She started off explaining that she knew nothing about detective work and was really writing a fantasy series, but I also felt dealt way to much with sex. Also, the author let her personal life enter the books to much, especially regarding sex. She went from being with a bigger guy represented by the original shapeshifter in the series to a smaller guy represented by the panther one. Battle Ground is brutal and changes everything as much as Changes did.

And sadly, I think most fans have no idea who to side with. I am not sure I do. The things I wouldn't mind seeing changed, involving salaries and stuff, I am not sure are being addressed. I think the majority of the members of the mlbpa are the ones being marginalized by the process. Teams now want either the superstar player for 25+ mil a year (2-4 of these to compete) OR guys on rookie salaries. the players, to me, being shoved aside are the journeymen who were part of every team in the day, the workers you could root for every year are now being signed to 1 year low million contracts (which is part of the problem millionaires feuding with billionaires over how big the pie they should get, so even these guys, to the average person, are earning a fortune each year). Not sure where this is going to end as, and I understand most don't think anything the owners have brought is reasonable, the mlbpa apparently have not moved one iota from their initial demands to try win back everything they have given away over the last 30 years or so.

After reading that article, I am not a big Rhodes fan, but if Khan "lets" him go to WWE, they may undermine everything they have done. The article is correct in stating that it will seem like Vince can come in and take anyone he wants, given that Cody was always the FACE of AEW corporate side.

I really hope they do not give Adam Cole the AEW championship. I realize might setup a Cole vs Omega when he returns, especially as they seem to be setting up Bullet Club (as led by Jay White) vs the Elite (led by Kenny) in AEW and IMPACT.

And which do you feel is less likely - the age or the style? Sadly in my case probably even odds, but not sure they would register on a betting pool being so low.

And hated each other at the time to the extent that when Art performed the song live the first time he did not give Paul credit for the song. It's ok, Strange is using Peter as a scapegoat, so isn't his fault (at least, it seemed like the problem was the same as we were seeing in No Way Home)

I said to my brother that these Playoffs were great and loved that the Super Bowl actually lived up to the rest of them. I am a Rams fan from waaaaayyyyy back so am thrilled they won in LA but would not mind seeing this Bengal team get a superbowl win. I think teams have started figuring out the Chiefs and next season, barring injuries, I think the AFC will come down to Bills/Bengals. After the games to decide who got here, would have been sad for a blowout. and Kupp proved he belongs in the talks of best in the league (Donald already is and how do you block him with 1 guy on a 4th and 1 when you know you are throwing the ball), basically getting open and making plays despite pretty much being triple teamed. I thought Ramsey had a bad game, and I don't mean just with Chase; he tried to hard to jump plays and get a pick for a TD.

I hate to say this, because obviously it can't be true, but maybe they are trying to target a younger audience and not old fogies. How anyone could think we are fogies, I have no idea.

Having never seen it, I wonder if they were trying to hard to do humor and for the Blog to get likes and probably never cared about gaming. I would rather see some of the sessions Vin Diesel does with anyone he apparently makes movies with, or so I have heard. Now those would be entertaining and actually have people who seem to care about the game.

Glad to hear it. I enjoy the series and was hoping. all reviews had said was much closer to the reacher in the book and the first season follows The Killing Floor. looking forward to watching. The actor playing Reacher is actually 6'2", but they went out of their way to film him from lower angles and stuff to make him look even bigger then he is, and anyone who saw Titans and his portrayal of Hawk know he is not a small man.

Part of the human/alien (since I assume the likeness would be whatever planet they were sent too) is that only the leader knew what they were really doing (She told Icarus), the rest were supposed to believe themselves to be immortal beings guiding the races of that planet forward.

He is also known for not being able to pass for longer then 10-15 yards. Which of course means he is an 80s QB in a pass control system, kind of like the 49ers used to win championships. I feel bad for the guy, when he plays they win, which means the players believe in him. Rams/Bengals could be good, but the Bengals O-Line is not that great (see the 9 sacks last week) and they are facing one of the best pass rushes in football. Still, as a Rams fan, I hope they don't over look them, since the Bengals have now won 3 straight games most people didnt think they could win.

expect to see a similar thing from Gronk, thereby putting the Bucs back in the mediocre category. as a matter of fact, all those guys Brady brought so he could win a championship without Belicek will probably leave.

A friend who is a big star wars and specifically Mandalorians says the thing he likes the best about this and the other series is the expansion of the races (Jawas and Tuskan Raiders, for instance). He also says they seem to be, bit by bit, retconning the last 3 movies out of existence.
