Dr. Anomaly
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER 1024 by 768 is my prefered size. How's this? I had to fill in the top & bottom with some color, and I picked black because it seemed like the best match for the pictures. If you'd prefer something different, or a different arrangement or order (other than the obvious, simple one) please let me know.

Dr. Anomaly
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Good' date=' thanks. I still can't rep you yet either. [/quote'] You're welcome. And I encourage you to keep trying! (I kept getting annoyed and trying to rep someone only to get the message "you must spread it around..." so I started keeping track with a simple text file list of the last 20 people to whom I've given rep. Now I know before I try if I'll be able to rep someone or not, and if not how long it will be before I can.)

Bazza
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER *Shrug* The essential point is still well taken; Have you tried to figure out the (multi-volume) tax codes lately? Most tax attorneys admit they can't. Studying 6 months of Australian taxation law was bad enough, I knew then I don't want to make a career out of it. We had to read the tax act 3 volumes, 1 textbook, one professional book of examples, not to mention case law and anything else we could lay outhands on. And the tax act is being rewritten to make it easier to understand. Tax truly is the "devil" of (in) government.
Vondy
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER The references to cabbages in that old canard is clearly intended to give it a humorous bent, but lets take a perfectly serious approach: Title 17, Chapter 1 of the USC (Subject Matter and Scope of Copyright) contains ~39,144 words* There are 13 chapters in Title 17... *I dropped it into a word processor and ran a word count, hence the tilde (~)

OddHat
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Work-out was OK tonight. My Bench Press and Dead Lift don't seem to be going anywhere, but my Deep knee Bends are doing very well. I think I may need to change things up a bit, do less weight for more reps and try to work my way back up, as my strength has been stuck for a while now. Nagging biceps tenonitis isn't helping either. Diet is doing badly, but I wasn't too far off today. I'll work on it.

I've been known to drink it mixed with regular vodka (Finlandia preferably). But then again, I've been known to mix Minute-Maid orange drink with vodka when I ran out of real OJ. Somehow after 1/2 litre it doesn't seem to matter how good the mixer is...
