I have the set for the Kids' date=' it works pretty well if you want to use them. I normally prefer the Aeon folks though so haven't used them a lot.[/quote']

I'd love to use them... but money's an issue, as ever...

I looked at the Aeon kids this way. Each one is $10.25 (2 Teens, 2 adolescents, & a kid). All the figures take Mike/David/Freaks morphs OR Victoria/Steph Petite/Aiko morphs, some will take Luke & Lauras (the two adolescent). All figures have settings for going younger or older, and depending on what chraracter it is it'll stop where the before/after character picks up. For example you can taken Robin (the kid), age it older to be male or female, the female will be the same as Mary (the adolscent) on her youngest dial, and Mary @ her oldest setting will fit right into Anna (the teen) on her young setting. Then Anna will fade right into Vicki (or close to it) on her oldest setting.

If you don't mind working at it they'll also wear Mike & Vicki clothings. The youngers will also wear Luke/Lauras & Matt/Maddies with little to no tweaking. They'll also take Mil3 meshes so anything out there for David, Steph Petite, Aiko, Vicki3 and Mike 3 will work on them (I won't go into how beneficial Universal Texture Converter is).

All in all the Aeon stuff was the cheaper solution (to me), and I fully admit it's not for everyone :) Check out www.3dheroes.com though, Dan Swofford has done some wonderful things with them and Poser in general.

edited to add:

Oh, and just as an example, here's Seth with some Freak morphs. The face needs work but you get a decent idea. Poser Nudity, which isn't graphic (or is it) but some might not appreciate it.

Here's one I'd love to see rendered by poser. Her and the rest of her team.

Cheesecake: While "in costume", Cheesecake wears a very tight, very revealing dress that she uses to her advantage against men. It is red, barely passes her upper thigh, with yellow highlights. She wears a red domino mask and red ballet slippers. From past descriptions of her exploits, it is known that she never wears underwear... Cheesecake herself is a dyed platinum blonde. Her physical appearance is flawless, and she could easily get work as a model. It is believed that her appearance was changed when she gained her abilities, as pre-kidnapping pictures of her show her to be an attractive, but certainly not astonishingly beautiful, young woman.

I ran across a copy of the new version of Bryce today and picked it up on a whim. I had a version years ago but never really mastered it. Anyway, I didn't realize the new maker of Bryce are the same guys who make the "Hero Set" mentioned above.

Now I need to install it and see if I can come up with some cool locations.

It's not graphic' date=' no, but it's sure [i']disturbing[/i]...
I registered and DL'd the core program last night and spent the evening browsing through the DAZ plugins. Given how many of the female plugins for DAZ (and I suspect for Poser as well) are for negligee and teeny tiny bikinis, I'd be rather surprised if "anatomically correct" plugins aren't available to provide nipples and pubic hair, if not more, for at least the female figures. I suspect a lot of this gets used for soft-core porn by horny geeks. :snicker:

But I thought the program was just for art... you mean people have ... perverted it? That's it... I quit...

Seriously.... I have updates for some stuff coming up today, like the Lizard Man... I think I have him almost right... not sure.

Hey Yog! Here's a temporary design for Akari. The red color will be replaced by ... I dunno... Something.

Hey, cool!! The outfit seems more "dress uniform" than I would've expected for the warrior of the group, but then again it gives it a bit of that "Sakura Taisen (Wars)" look; which is always welcome! :)

1 question and 1 critique...

(Q) Are those pom-poms on her boots? :D

© If possible, more hair. Not sure the limitations of the software, but I kinda picture an anime-exaggerated Lara Croft-like braided ponytail.

Again, way cool!! Thanks!!

Re: Something we should all look into..

I splurged and got a few things last weekend.

Playing with the idea of a half-human/demon character for a Buffy:Vampire Slayer game.

Now, see, this makes me wonder if I should part with a few bucks. How easy is it to do? Do you have to have a modicum of artistic talent or programming skill? I haven't even mastered freakin' Paint Shop Pro yet, is this easier or harder?

Re: Something we should all look into..

I have some artistic talent. However, DAZ is more akin to photography than it is to painting or anything else. The only time art talent in the convential sense enters the picture is in Paintshop when re-texturing your objects. See my thread on Columbia for an example of retexturing.

Wow, Jkeown, nice stuff!

May I request something? Sounds like you left it open (how could this thread die???). I'd like to see how you do the Urban Druid:

cloak and cape; it blends in with the background, chameleon-like, its native color is green but most often is blending in with concrete and the like, urban environment

face - thin-faced, young, big shock of brown hair obscuring half of face

physique - slight

the cape swirls around him, Batman-like

gloves of same material as cloak/cape, with grey pointy boots

would be cool if he had his Russian Blue cat, Pinky Blue, an alleycat, with him, tough-looking skinny Russian Blue
