JTesla
Re: Space Cowboy WWII Hero! Interesting, I contemplated last year a wild west type setting in the modern day. Take everything from today and add gunfights in the streets with cheap saloons, that sort of thing. This should be even easier to work. One thing: if the hairstyle of the guy in the lower right with the yellowish-orange shirt is the hairstyle of the future, I don’t want to go there. Legendsmiths
Re: Space Cowboy WWII Hero! You could always set it in a post Great War setting, ala Harry Turtledove. Without a US as we know it you may have a more lawless, western feel.

As for the question, if done right, it could be interesting.
OddHat
Re: Space Cowboy WWII Hero! This looks like a bizarre version of FIREFLY. For Firefly we'd need to throw in Psionics. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

That's a hairstyle of -today-.

Captain Obvious
Re: Space Cowboy WWII Hero! Afterall...how can you go wrong when Nazis are the foes? Hmm...this could be an interesting thought problem: Come up with a bad game setting where Nazis are the enemy. Almost anything looks cool punching a Nazi.
