She was the daughter of Peter Rasputin and Kate Pryde-Rasputin. She could desolidify or become as strong as omnimum steel. Her nom de guerre is Steelshadow. But Shadowsteel might work as well. I mean, I assume you want feminine, as she won't go with Density. And I can't come up with anything for density that doesn't specifically mean mass. What are her SFX? I mean, if she actually turned into a diamond or some such, you have maybe (forgive the 2 am brain power) "Spectral Gem" or somesuch. maybe some SFX details might open up some options? Stone Fox Moon Light (my favorite) Soft Stone Annie Anchor Smoke Stone Led Feather Personality and the character's background would really help though. You could take the logic further and actually use your name to misdirect villains. Not too catchy, but well in keeping with Sean's ideas of playing the powers suite close to the vest. Then I thought about Hermit's Stone Ghost. Nice, but decidely masculine-- something about the allitteration of the vowels and the word stone itself. Struck my like Density did: perfectly acceptable, but perhaps masculine. Then "Stone Cold" came to mind while I was bouncing it off the tongue, and the flood of Steve Austin marketing------ for a lady, it was out. Iron Ghost has good potential, but I think the best choice so far was the 'Shadow Steel' offered above. My two coppers, since I've got a total blank. I think if you really want to give her a decent name, come up with a little more detail on how her powers work. Is she using some mental discipline to alter her mass by force of will? Is it magic?
