Pariah
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Today I present another member of O.R.C.A. (the Ocean Rescue and Conservation Armada). The most mysterious member of O.R.C.A., many people assume he's Killer Whale's bodyguard - as if he needed one. In reality, this newest member of the group is the team's hand-to-hand fighting specialist, using an esoteric fighting style perfectly suited to underwater combat. He's fast, silent, and lethal. Nobody's quite sure where he came from; O.R.C.A. and its operatives started seeing him at the scene of many of their missions, and he seemed to have the same goals as they did. After a time, Killer Whale tracked him down, introduced himself and his organization, and offered him a place with the team. He's been with them ever since. In all that time, nobody's ever heard him utter a single word, not even to give his name. Killer Whale gave him his current designation: Sharktooth! Always a pleasure I have another line of characters waiting, but first I want to finish the Irish ones. Here's the woman who taught Cúchulainn his fighting skills. Pariah
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Another member of O.R.C.A. (the Ocean Rescue and Conservation Armada) today: She was a small-time pickpocket who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. When the distinguished elderly gentleman she attempted to rob turned out to be a the leader of a DEMON coven, her life was forever changed. The coven was in the middle of an arcane rite (in which she was the sacrifice du jour) when the local superhero group arrived. In the fight that ensued, she wasn't exactly saved, although she didn't die. Instead, she was transformed by Dark Magic into a creature that had to feed on the life-force of others to survive. She was eventually captured and imprisoned for the murders she committed to satiate her hunger. When Killer Whale read about her trial and conviction, he saw in her a potential ally. So he broke her out of prison and offered her a place with his organization. He performed gene therapy on her to mitigate the effects of her hunger and to make her able to survive the rigors of the deep oceans. In return, she pledged her loyalty to him. She now serves O.R.C.A. as: Remora!

Pariah
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Today's member of O. R. C. A. (the Ocean Rescue and Conservation Armada): He was a brilliant young scientist with a promising career with the Soviet Navy. But with the dissolution of he USSR and the cutbacks in its successor, the Russian military machine, he soon found his funding cut off and his project destined for the scrap heap. So he did what a lot of people in the Soviet war machine did in those days--he went mercenary. VIPER was only too happy to bankroll his latest project: a super-suit designed for underwater operations and combat. Alas, while VIPER had the money, its leadership was far less stable than his old employer's had been. He was bounced from nest to nest and lab to lab for years, until finally he finished his prototype. The leadership at VIPER was impressed with his work--so impressed that they decided to take possession of the suit and kill him. Deducing his superiors' plans, he launched a preemptive strike and leveled the base before leaving. He spent the next few years working as a mercenary, until he was recruited by Killer Whale. Now he is O.R.C.A.'s chief tech expert, as well as a member of the combat team. He is: Alfa!
