HeroTina
As many of you know DOJ INC - the parent company which owns Hero Games - has a logistics division that provides services to other companies. Its website is http://www.dojlogistics.com. One of the services we provide is the online sale of board, card, roleplaying games, and figurines on our client's behalf. As few if any of these products have any direct relation to the HERO System, we've set aside an exclusive section of our store for them. This forum has been created to allow us to announce when new products of this type become available. Feel free to aks questions, post reviews, and generally discuss these fine non-Hero products with others on the Discussion Boards.
Lord Liaden
Re: Greetings Hero Fandom Assembled! As many of you know DOJ INC - the parent company which owns Hero Games - has a logistics division that provides services to other companies. Its website is http://www.dojlogistics.com. This one is news to me. But in these tough economic times, diversification seems like a prudent course. How long has DOJ provided this service? And did the company exist before it moved to buy the Hero Games IP?
ghost-angel
Re: Greetings Hero Fandom Assembled! Oh good, a consolidated store front for everything.. I remember asking Darren about something like that at GenCon and he just said "Well, wait and see. We got cool stuff coming early in 09." ghost-angel
Re: Greetings Hero Fandom Assembled! IPR, in spite of some of the attitudes of gamers that frequent it, has a collection of writers putting out some really interesting stuff. Secret Master
Re: Greetings Hero Fandom Assembled! How long has DOJ provided this service? And did the company exist before it moved to buy the Hero Games IP? The logistics division of DOJ is a little less than a year old. DOJ Inc is in a unique position in that one of our principles (me) owns a small complex of warehouses in Nevada. It was originally constructed to house the extensive Hero Games back catalog, but has grown larger over time. Thus warehousing/logistics was a logical business for us to go into. -Jason

Greywind
So? Doesn't mean that the business, and by extension, its web domain wouldn't still be active.
bigbywolfe
There's threads in this forum over 5 years old and yet, low and behold, the forum still exists! I could name other sites that have existed for more than 5 years but it would literally take the rest of my life to list them all....
