Hay Death Tribble. Great news. Their really is a song named The Lemonade Stand by Poduck, so that is a legal name for a Stand. As for what it does...lets just say it scairs the lemonade out of you if you found out about what it can do.

The Hobgoblin of Little Minds was originally a primary school grammar teacher known for her strictness and eventually kicked out for physical abuse of the students.  Her Stand is "Wordcrimes", which punishes any misuse of language (by the Hobgoblin's standards) in poetically appropriate ways.

Nice to see "Wierd Al" is repersented. The song "Word Crimes", a parody of "Blured Lines", is on his new ablum "Manitory Fun". Again, this has been touched by the misspelling fairy.

Lets start this again. This subgroup is related to the Church of Dio Brando, but is NOT any of the six needed for the group.

The Four Horsemen of Dio are four motorcycle riding stand users who search the world for the remains of the vampire/Stand user Dio Brando, and plan to reserect him. They reject their human names, and only go by the name of their Stand. They are:

 

1) Holly Diver, who can alow the user to 'dive' into solids like it is water.

 

2) Rainbow, who can change the color of anything to one of the seven colors of the rainbow. He can also shoot a beam of color which causes objects of the color of the beam to explode.

 

3) Heaven and Hell can causes extreme pleasure, or pain with but a touch.

 

4) Nobody knows the ability of the last Stand, Stargazer, for nobody has faced him and survived.

 

Stargazer has two stand abilities. One, he can make targets canatonic. Since he likes to fight in the middle of nowhere, it is more likely that the victim will die because of this. The second ability is to create a ball of plasma in the night sky and bring it down upon his oponent's head. He only uses the second ability if the victim's mind is to strong for ability number one.

 

 

Their relationship with The Church of Dio Brando is slightly antagonistic, as the church seeks to worship Dio, not really looking for Dio to be reborn.

 

 

Holly Diver is a DIO song, Stargazer is a Rainbow song (I beleve,,,if not then it is a DIO song). Heaven and Hell is a Black Sabith song, AND it is curently what Black Sabith calls itself when Ronny James Dio is the lead singer durring tours (when Ozzy is there, it is back to Black Sabith). Rainbow is a group founded by Ronny James Dio. Now you know.

Randell Emmington Martell or REM is a bit of a dreamer. His stand is Stand. It disorienates people unless they have some way of telling which direction they are facing or follow the simple directions. They need to imagine that they are standing in the place where they live. Then they must face north and think about direction and why they have not thought about it before. Then they need to imagine that they are standing in the place where they work and face West and finally they must think about the place where they live and wonder why they haven't before. This is particularly nasty to the unemployed and those who have never had a job which upsets enemies of the group. REM uses it to punish dreamers and the homeless mainly. People with direction sense are immune to it as are those with a direction in their name as REM found out to his cost when Kanye West punched him out.

Floyd Pinkerton appears schizoprehenic and this manifests in his stand, the Wall. Anyone sucked into it is treated to a traumatic mind rape where every percieved crime is replayed with a harsh judgement carried out on the victim

Dan Dragon Reynolds uses the Monster. This power is activated around fire and it allows him to absorb powers around him, and form creatures that uses those powers to attack. They continue to drain their victims as they decimate the field.

The Cardinel warded Monchmart during the forties and fifties and earned a rogue's gallery. Who were the six villains of that he opposed during his tenure that became the Revenge Society?

Revenge Society member Alan Cooperson is better know by his crime name The Man Behind The Mask. He is a master of disguise, a master thief, and an expert gymnast. People on the seventh floor start locking their windows because of him. (Yes, a holdover from the last team, in regards to music reffences)

The Iron Hand Tong, led by Wu Fei, briefly set up operations in Marchmont to access bigger cities and the transient Chinese population for unwitting help. The Iron Hands engaged in the typical smuggling and extortion of their breed.

Lucy Davis was Fatal Femme. Originally appearing as a dumb girlfriend to gangster Walter Dumont, the Cardinal found out too late that she was the mastermind. Lucy was smart enough to change her look several times so that the Cardinal was never sure if he was battling someone new or her. This included changes to ethnicity. She never spent any time in jail and had numerous escape routes and safe houses available. She was a good shot which almost did for the Cardinal on at least one occasion. Lucy several times pretended to be the girlfriend of other members of The Revenge Society as it allowed them to spy on others and work on the good nature of the police and other forces of good.

After the furore of the Apalachin Conference Fatal Femme became less prominent and disappeared. In 1977 a book was published naming Lucy as Fatal Femme but no sign of her was ever established after 1969.

The mysterious Lord Mystery appeared to be nothing more than a simple stage magician. In reality, he has an almost supernatural hypnosis ability to gain control over lesser minds and force thoes minds to do anything, even kill themselves. He offen uses mind controlled victims to do his crimes for him. He was never captured, but joined the Revenge Society after being vested the fifth time. His wereabots are not known.

supposedly a German escaping from the tyranny of the Reich he was actually a Communist agent, a frequent opponent of the Cardinal was Ivan Orfulkoff ! Suprisingly none of the others caught on to the fact that he was serving Mother Russia, mainly because he was such a good crook. The Cardinal never caught him in his espionnage role but did catch him in his criminal role. Ivan managed to get away, particularly at the height of the Red Scare, by telling the FBI he was a German scientist and they believed him. After the Cardinal had gone for some months Ivan also disappeared. When Anatoliy Golitsyn http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatoliy_Golitsyn defected he brought proof that Ivan was KGB but despite their best efforts the CIA and FBI never found him.

The last member of The Revenge Society is Doctor Deranger, a crinimaly bent scientist (some call him mad) who provides all the hi-tech gadgets the society needs for there plans. The society learned early on never to ask about exactly what science is the bases for the gadgets. It works, and that is all they need to know, acording to the doctor himself.

GRAB Express

 

This is a subset of the GRAB group. They specialise in robbing fast moving vehicles like trains and planes and also vehicles that are supposed to be impregnable. Minimum 5 maximum 10 members. MUST have code against killing as a pre-requisite and some power that would enable them to get in or out of a fast moving vehicles or some combination of feats and skills.

Toadrunner is the crime name of Todd Runns. He is a mutant with extremly strong legs, which makes him an excelent leaper and a powerful kicker. Also, while not a true speadster, he is able to run fast at long distances. He really dosen't want to hurt anyone, and is only in it for the money. He is also infactuated with Hummingbird.

 

He also ponders why there are not more men in the main group.

Tank Hanson is the Rose Bandit because of his ability to shatter into  storm of petals that can go anywhere that is not cut off from the rest of the world

The Brazen Hussar

 

The Brazen Hussar is one of the group leaders. While she has some martial arts skill and has had acrobatic training, what sets her apart is her phenomenal luck. This is what gets her into and out of scrapes. She does not use her skill to do something completely stupid such as diving through helicopter blades or wandering in the path of the intake for a jet engine. But balancing on a train ? Check. Mid air transfers ? Check. She is thought to be British from her accent although she has used disguises and altered her accent before. That and the name which is derived from brazen hussy. Hussy is British slang for an immoral girl/woman. And her distinctive cavalry jacket which links her to European rather than American militaries. She plays on innuendo and licentiousness to make police officers etc uncomfortable particularly in efforts to escape capture or combat. She is a very good people person often helping her colleagues out with their confidence or morale which is one of the reasons she is a good team leader, and has useful contacts. The horsewhip is not just for added HTH damage, she has used it to blind opponents and as a radio transmitter/receiver.

Lift-Ticket is the brick of the team. He loves to lift and carry heavy things. He can also fly short distances. He hates fighting and combat, perfering to take damage then do damage.

He has a crush on GRAB leader Black Diamond, but it is unrequited, and he knows it.

Velocivore aka Guero Humanez has a deliberately misleading codename--his ability is to match the velocity of any being or object in his line of signt.  He carries an assortment of gear designed to get him inside the vehicle once he's matched its speed.  Some of it looks pretty scary, but he only uses non-lethal weapons on living beings.

 

(Yeah, that was a couple of years ago--no wonder I couldn't find it, and the opening post really didn't give me any clues.  Which reminds me that the Hero Team thread is stuck on another of those "too many characters for an obscure theme" groups.)
