Lucius
New Team: Invaders Seven Members: 7 Theam: Seven aliens who want to invade the Earth were defeated and removed from power by various superheros. Now, they have teamed up for revenge and to marshal their resources. Disaster (sometimes calling himself Catastrophe) chose his English name because it has the same root meaning, "evil star," as the name silleegekko that his own people gave him when he was cast out. Disaster is a Bayangi, lizardlike but with super flexible, tentacle like limbs, and has the normal Bayangi traits: a hypersensitive sense of small and taste, immunity to terrestrial diseases and poisons, ability to recover from wounds in a healing trance, and a chameleonlike ability to blend in if totally still, along with tiny size and a very very fragile physique. Bayangi are also experts with technology, especially robototics - and Disaster's abilities are impressive to a Human engineer, although considered incompetent among the Bayangi, who trusted him with few technological or other secrets. Disaster wants to revenge himself against his own people by living up to his name - "I will show them the real meaning of silleegekko!" - and has tried to be a disaster to them by, for example, warning the people of Earth that the Bayangi are already among them, secretly replacing key people with their clever Human seeming robots piloted by Bayangi hidden inside. So far no one seems to take his warnings seriously, leaving him just as miffed at the people of Earth as at his own kind. He doesn't care if he helps the Invaders Seven conquer Earth, or helps save Earth from his own people, or even ends up helping someone else conquer Earth, as long as it's not the Bayangi! When Un-Rov-Un was damaged in combat, Disaster jumped at the chance to repair it, turning it into a robot vehicle that he now pilots from inside and equipping it with Bayangi weapons technology. He knows Sev-Zar-Sev must have a factory ship somewhere in the solar system (the Bayangi and the Gatcha have tangled before) and has been probing Un-Rov-Un's software looking for the contact frequencies and codes so he can take control of it. Sev-Zar-Sev has deleted everything that might compromise his ship from Un-Rov-Un, and is hoping Disaster will lead them to the other Bayangi on Earth eventually, so that Invaders Seven can appropriate their resources and information and eliminate them as competition. In the long run he plans to feed Disaster to Replikant. Lucius Alexander The palindromedary suspects it's really just a lizard with weird mutations and weird delusions. steriaca and death tribble
SKJAM!
Trinary is a machine lifeform who doesn't think of vwiself as an invader, so much as a missionary. Vwi was sent as part of the Gr#g((( Collective to convert all beings to Lj&b++ianism. Vwi has three forms, bipedal, tank and jet, all heavily armed. Trinary's greatest strength is also vwi's greatest setback--vwi's trinary operating system is completely incompatible with all Earth OS, so Trinary cannot use Vwi's machine telepathy to control Earth machines, but also cannot be affected by Earth beings' machine control powers. Trinary is confused by Earth's binary genders--Vwi's species has three genders that roughly translate into "sweet" "sour" and "quark." Trinary is quark, but tri-curious. Trinary is also confused by Replikant's mono-gendered species, but bears it no ill will as they can easily share the planet. steriaca
death tribble
Star This alien tends to manifest as a sphere but otherwise just exists as energy. When it first encountered the others it appeared as human that became energy. It's energy form is carbon based and that makes it vunerable to Replikant or so he thinks. However energy cannot be created or destroyed it merely changes from one form to another. Star would thus be able to recreate itself if Replikant ate it. Possibly at an inopportune moment. Star claims to be the last survivor of ts species and they were sentient stars. Two of the others doubt this but they cannot prove nor disprove it. Star wishes to make Earth a new home and use Captain Losex to change the planet according to its wishes. That's seven. New Team: Reversibles This is a team of at least 5 villains. However they are also heroes (and as such will appear in the Heroes thread). Some incident turned the villains into heroes or was it the other way around ? Both exist but all are one thing (i.e. villains) at the same time. They are never partly heroes or partly villains. Both sets are increasingly concerned at their sudden disappearance and then reappearance without knowledge of what has happened in between time. To make matters more complicated the heroes powers and abilities may not match the villains powers and abilities. They may also be a different sex. Depending on the writer there may be one who is a mirror image on the teams. Any powers and abilities are possible but you have to state who the opposite is and when the team appears in the Hero thread post the opposite there as well. death tribble
Gloom Mistress of the night, Gloom is named for her bleak outlook rather than her darkness powers. She uses her powers to cloud the activities of the others and fires darkness to incapacitate opponents. Her skin has also turned a shade of dark blue. However Gloom is plagued with nightmares about a city beneath the sea which is inhabited by a being of unspeakable evil and immense size. When the stars are right he will arise as the city comes up from the depths. Recently Gloom has been experiencing blackouts which mean she has no idea how she gets from one place to another. She may go to sleep in New York and wake up Los Angeles some time later. Her fear is that the being is exerting his influence to make her do his being and that the time is ripe for his return. The others have noted her growing paranoia but as they can't explain their own disappearances/lapses they hope her version of events or her therory is true. Some time while she is sleeping Gloom turns into Lady Light who goes forth to fight evil. The latter is driven to fight evil and does not question how and why she appears in different places and times Lady Light is Caucasian which would be a real surprise to Gloom. Nothere
Artie Greer didn't put it on the application, but he wanted to work for the museum to have an origin. True fiddling with radiation seemed more likely to do it, but he didn't want to run the risk of cancer. For three years he poked and prodded the items in storage. Nothing happened. Then one day the museum got a chest from China. He opened it and it was full of old coins. Disappointed again he started taking stock of the coins. One stood out because an old phrase was etched on it. "May you live in interesteing times." He began fiddling with the coin while catalouging the others. Then wile thinking about how he wanted to have an origin he flipped it. Suddenly he was th. And he used that body to become a hero. But he forgot the pharse is both a blessing and a curse. And a coin has two sides. So there is a second transformation. A monstrously ugly but briliant form that calls itself the Gruesome Ghoul. With it's ability to disrupt a living creatures bioelectric field the Ghoul can slow, weaken, or stun just about anyone with a touch. And he has carefully begun building a criminal empire. The only real problem is he worries Artie will stop transforming if he knew about the Ghoul. So he supresses Arties memories of him as much as possible. death tribble
Gavrax Looking a bit like a cartoon Gavrax is one of those annoying unkillable villains. He looks like a head merged with a body with stumpy like arms and legs coming out of the figure. His body pulstates and undulates as if something was underneath it at all times. This villain is immune to pointed weapons such as swords and spears but can be bludgeoned with fists and knocked out. Alternately people have dropped weights on him like a Monty Python gag and he has blown up only to reform later. Gavrax tends to refer to himself in the third person and bellows out threats and boasts at all times when in combat such as 'You CANNOT defeat Gavrax !'. He is aware of Gloom's idea but dismisses it as no-one is greater than Gavrax. NB: Looks a bit like Karkas of the Marvel Eternal/Deviants That is the minimum but unless Dr Dunstan is the leader we don't have a boss for the team. SKJAM!
Mouflon is technically named after a kind of wild sheep, but the Goats of the Galaxy let him stay anyway. He is known for his indomitable will (high EGO and Mental Defense) and expertise with breaking into and out of secured facilities. His horns are thick and curled, which makes them good for blunt ramming. His one flaw for teamwork is that he's not good at following orders he disagrees with.
