Transportation and rescue work is his main focus, but he has been known to throw a giant fist at someone. Danny was a delivery driver until he found a plain looking key in a door on his route. when he opened the door he found himself standing on Malva surrounded by the aliens he bolted back through the door. When he removed the key and reopened the door only to see the normal hallway. Experimenting with the key he discovered its strange powers it could open any lock and with an act of will he can open that door to any other door way he can picture. Finally the key is designed to protect its user growing into a golden heater shield. The key is part of the Universal Portal System (UPS) used by a species of highly advanced tourists who travel the universe to see the sights. It's former owner is desperate to find it but all he knows is he left it somewhere near malva when the rest of his group passed through. He has also been maimed or killed and then regenerated and got right on with the task. He is stronger than the average man and can take a lot of damage. he is also up to speed with rescue protocols and what the fire service, paramedics and ambulance people do. X wears a black full face ballistic mask, black suit black leather gloves trench coat and Fedora. he has the ability to transform into black smoke and get in just about anywhere. A forensic expert and highly skilled operative if a rescue involves a crime he will solve it. Rumors that he gained his powers when his car was blown up by the mob leaving him horribly disfigured or that he is secretly a vampire with a monstrous bat like face have been fervently denied by the agency but more outlandish rumour's spring up when ever they deny anything. While recovering in hospital the grandfather of the little girl he had saved visited him and presented him with a glass eye it was a perfect match for the one he had lost. It wasn't until Phillip returned to the station for desk work while he recovered he discovered the eyes secret power it let him see murderers. Using this gift Phillip helped solve a very difficult case for the force but as the eyes testimony was not admissible in court the hardest part was proving guilt. Detective Faulkner gains the murders trust by appearing to be a bumbling incompetent but by careful probing he destroys their alibi and either tricks them into confessing or revealing their guilt in some way. He is also ready to use his fists and can if need be use a form of duplication which brings in other people which look nothing like him and have different skills. Well, let's see what I can rustle up... Famed pro-mutant-rights philanthropist Richard Citadel is secretly a mutant himself. Although he tries to keep his telekinetic and telepathic powers hidden from the world, he found himself using them more and more to subtly aid police investigations, making small accidents befall the suspects or sensing when a witness is hiding something. Eventually, he worried that his work with the police would expose him, and therefore his mother, wife, and daughter, to anti-mutant extremists. So, he took to fighting crime more openly, but using a secret identity and wearing fake 'gadgets' that claims as the source of his powers. He had a purple heart, a chunk of Jerry shrapnel in his shoulder and his trusty browning 1911 service issue wand. Jack worked as a private dick the usual stuff cheating husband's insurance fraud and voodoo curses. Jack had a rep as the toughest guy around you didn't last long in the trenches of Mons with out mastering your wards. It took some serious mana to put Jack down. Then one day this dame walked into his office wanted him to recover this statue that had been stolen. She lay the glamour on thick. Jack took the case biggest mistake of his life bundist worshippers of ancient gods trying to summon nartholep to ensure a glorious thousand year Reich and Jack just one private dick with a better than average ward and a fully charged 1911. Jack succeeded in disrupting the ceremony but the resulting mystical backlash flung him into another world and time now he does what he can to make LA's supernatural set behave and deals with any weird cases that show up.
